Our team is dedicated to working with, listening to, and caring for our patients and their families to ensure that they receive the comprehensive care and support that they need.
Primary Care
Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed below. We recommend that you call our office at least 1 month in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date and in the location that best fits your needs. Appointments can be scheduled up to 6 months in advance.
Ear Infections
Additional concerns or problems at the time of a well visit: If your child is being seen for a well child visit and a new or ongoing problem (for example ear infection, warts, ADHD concerns, etc) is identified, discussed, and/or treated at that visit, both services are required to be reported and billed to your insurance company. Your insurance company may add a copay or apply it to your deductible.
Emergency Care
After hours, if you have an urgent question or concern, call the office and you will be prompted to leave a message. If you need help deciding if you should go to the emergency room please choose the emergency mailbox and you will receive a call back within 15 minutes. For all other urgent questions that cannot wait until the office reopens, please choose the urgent mailbox. This mailbox is monitored daily until 10 pm and you will receive a call back within 2 hours.

Anyone who has ever had COVID-19 will need to be evaluated in our office prior to returning to sports or exercise. This is because COVID-19 can cause some serious heart problems. All kids/teens need a minimum 14 day rest period after symptoms have resolved (or 14 days from positive test result if no symptoms), followed by a gradual return to exercise over at least 7 days. Some will need an EKG prior to return to exercise/sports. Please let us know if your child has had COVID-19 so we can help guide you on safely returning to exercise and sports!

Purpose of your visit: When calling for an appointment, please be specific about the purpose of the visit. Regular health checks take 20 to 30 minutes and vary depending on your child’s age, which procedures or tests are needed, and if there are additional concerns that need to be addressed. Longer consultation is often necessary for those with complex or chronic problems. These include behavioral problems, new ADHD evaluation, asthma evaluation, children with special needs, weight and nutrition concerns, and those with multiple, long-standing, or vague symptoms like recurrent abdominal pain, fatigue or weakness, headaches and poor appetite. Let us know about any of these concerns so we can give you the time you need.

We may use a series of visits and surveys to help direct our path - and follow up (at least every three months) to make sure our recommendations are still on track.

1. Large boils or pustules should be lanced or drained, and cultures obtained. Small lesions can be treated locally with Bactroban ( 2% mupirocin) ointment, plus appropriate oral antibiotics.
