I had taken my 2008 Mini Cooper S to Pep Boys as the check engine light had come on and the car feels sluggish. They told me the turbo needed to be replaced and I paid $2,500.00 to have turbo replaced, drove my vehicle for 3 days and the check engine light came back on. I took the car back to pep boys and they kept it for a week and called me and told me everything was fine, I picked the vehicle back up and I drove the vehicle the next day and the check engine light came back on yet again. I called Pep Boys back and told them the light had come back on and I didn't feel comfortable bringing it back to them. A friend of mine recommended that I take my car to Sigismondi Foreign Car Specialist. I took my vehicle to them at 9:00 am and was explained that diagnostic charges would be $125.00 to diagnose the vehicle, at that point I gave them permission to check my vehicle. The repair facility called me around 2:00 telling me they had diagnosed my vehicle. The vacuum line from beneath the intake manifold to the turbo was collapsed and would need to be replaced. They told me the job would take 2 hours plus parts the total cost of repairing the my vehicle was $302.40 and I have been driving the vehicle for a week now and it drives perfect and the check engine light has not come back on. At this time I am disputing Pep Boys repairs and charges and am awaiting the outcome.

I am very much out of my element at an auto repair shop. I know nothing about cars and probably never will. When a mechanic is trying to explain what needs to happen to my car to repair it, I feel like they are speaking another language. The guys at Sigismondi's are so friendly and they take time to make sure that people like me understand what is really going on with their car. Being as ignorant as I am about cars, I feel very comfortable bringing my car to Joe at Sigismondi's.

I'm so thankful for Sigismondi's service. Last month I purchased a used car and there has been trouble with the ABS light appearing while I drive. Not really sure what was going on, they were recommended by a friend who stated they were keen on a vehicle's electrical systems. I'm glad I gave them a chance. Without being pushy, the owner Joe gave me insight on why the ABS light may be appearing and a quick description of what must be done to correct the problem. His knowledge of these automotive issues put my mind at ease. Also, the repair wasn't as costly as I expected. I will be returning and recommend anyone in the Philadelphia area to stop by this wonderful shop.

Joe is the most honest and thorough mechanic & business owner I have ever met. I took my Mercedes Benz to his shop a week ago for a major engine type repair. I was quoted more than double the price he charged me at the Dealership. He saved me tons of money. I wanted to wait to post this review to make sure that my car run smoothly and so far so good.
