Shalom is a learning center that provides high school-based drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs. It receives grant from the City of Philadelphia s Coordinating Office for drug and alcohol abuse programs. The center offers information on substance abuse prevention for children in grades one through eight. Shalom Court provides reporting network evaluation and outpatient counseling services. Its evaluators and psychologists offer instructions and classes in Spanish. The center deals in depression, anxiety, school, family and relationship, and nutrition and health issues. Shalom provides stress management, skills enhancement, conflict resolution and problem solving services. It conducts training sessions for public and charter schools.
