Al the specalist was great and a very encouraging driving instructor, he made my first driving lesson with him amazing. Compared to the driving instructor I had in the past Al is the best hands down, I would recommend him to anybody who is trying to become a better driver and get their liscense.

AL, is a great driving instructor. I had two lessons with him and I take my test tomorrow; hope all goes well! I would recommend anyone who needs driving lessons; he made it a great experience for me...thanks

Andy was the instructor my grand daughter had he was very patient and kind he took time to teach her the correct driving methods. Andy knew when she was nerves he talked her through until she became confident in her driving skills.



I would reccomend ANDY highly and my grand dauighter says she was so glad that he was her instructoe for the past year. We rate ANDY 5 star.

Shoutout to Al and his teaching on how to drive skill made a lot of progress and made me a better driver.

Al the Specialist is by far the best driving instructor in the city of Philadelphia. He teaches you the correct way to drive in a small amount of time and the price is very reasonable. I thank him so much for everything he taught me and making it possible for me to pass my road test. Thanks again Al!

My first impression on driving to certain locations were surprising. When Al said to drive from my house, I was shocked and nervous. He showed how confident he was in his teaching, which transferred to me to believe I could be a good driver. He's a great teacher and I would certainly recommend him.

Al the Specialist is the best hands down. He teaches you to the drive the right way/safe way. I was so afraid of getting behind the wheel and that has changed today. If you are one who is unsure of yourself when it comes to driving behind the wheel or have never driven before Al the Specialist is your guy. You won't feel like your money is going down the drain he actually teaches you how to drive. I have another lesson scheduled with Al and I know that after this lesson I'll have my license in no time. I can't wait. I'm so excited. I love the car and I appreciate AL the Specialist for what he does. No one could have the patience he has had with me. If you want it done right call Al and nobody else.

I had never been on a high way, once i got behind the wheel with Al on my first day i was so scared. But he guided me through and in no time i was relaxed and comfortable. He taught me how to parallel park which i thought was going to be super hard. I havea few bad habits i need to break but Al is pushing me in the right direction. I feel as though i.will definitely be receiving my license on Thursday and i just started Monday!!! Al gets a definate recommendation from me.

This school is worth every penny Mr.Angel and Mr.James are the absolute best. After 3 classes I learned how to drive on the highway and switch lanes, I got my license on the first try. If you really serious about learning how to drive and getting your license i really recommend this school.

I recently began driving with Al and he is the best driving school teacher hands down. He's funny, patient, a great teacher, educated, and relaxed. He works with you through your flaws until they are you strengths and charges affordable prices as well.

Al the Specialist is the Man!!!! I had my 1st lesson today and i admit i was nervous but Al was patient with me. He uses a calm voice and tell you what you did wrong and encouraged you to follow through no matter what. Cause it's just like he says "Rome was not built in a Day". Thanks Al!!

I must be one of the few people who had a problem with Al. The first lesson was enjoyable even though we stopped at Boston Market (1/2) on my time ( so instead of driving for the two hours I paid him it was more like an 1h 1/2 ) and he kept badgering me to write a review when I got home. When I scheduled the next lesson I told him I wanted to practice parking he INSISTED that it be early in the morning. He was supposed to be at my place at 7 when I called him he informed me that I was supposed to call to wake him up. He seemed very annoyed an arrived in hour later. When we got in his car and he was extremely disrespectful to me. He repeatedly spoke down to me as if I was some sort of idiot and I ended up telling him that I wanted to end the lesson 20 minutes in and get out of the car to catch the bus. He told me no and insisted that I take him to Wawa's so he could get something to eat. I called my father to tell him what happened and ask him to come get me because I didn't think Al wanted to give me my money back and I knew that without that money I couldn't buy bus tokens. My dad spoke to Al over the phone and he purposely stretched the hour out taking me to a Penndot parking lot before telling me to drive home. I've never felt more unsafe in my life. I wish I had got out of his car when he went into Wawa's. He returned 60 dollars out of the 120. He also got out of his car to speak to my dad. I wasn't there but my dad told me later that the guy said he was a cop and got shot or stabbed in the leg. I don't know if Al feels as though this excuses his behavior. But I am NOT his daughter!!! Maybe he felt like because I was polite and had manners that I was weak and therefore he could disrespect me that way. My own father doesn't talk to me the way he did.



I am not the type of person who buys anything and owns it for a week and sings it's praises. I am the type of person who may own a computer or a cellphone for a couple of years before I write a review. Had I been the former my review would look a lot like the other reviews. Also beware of the numbers listed. One line goes directly to Al's personal phone. I'm sure some people may have called it think it was the $80 special. Also carry bus tokens. If you have the unfortunate experience of having an unprofessional driving instructor have some tokens so that you won't be at their mercy waiting for them to return your cash. (Al didn't return my money until we were back at my house and he had wasted an hour. If we had ended the lesson when I asked him to I would've gotten 90 dollars back and been able to buy tokens and call septa and figure out how to get home, as I wasn't familiar with the neighborhood I was in)

I had my first driving lesson yesterday with Al the specialist,yesterday was my first time to control a car. Al is a very professsional teacher, he made me drive his new car from my street to the highway and back, guiding me all the way, instilling confidence while reinforcing the skill. I was able to let go of my fears because I found a teacher who is not only passionate about his instruction but respect for his student. I would recommend him to any responsible person seeking to learn driving safely. From him, you get what you pay for and more.

I am 18 years old and desperately needed a driver s license before I went away to school. I contacted Paul s Driving School and Al was my teacher. He is certainly a specialist as his nickname implies. During my first lesson he had me driving on I-95. I was scared to death but he got me all the way through the lesson. During my second lesson he taught me how to parallel park in about 30 minutes. For someone who has never driven before and couldn t even locate the turn signals during their first lesson, these are tremendous accomplishments. He has a great sense of humor and his car is brand new and squeaky clean. When you are with him you drive everywhere. He doesn t take over the wheel after your lesson. He truly believes in hands-on learning. Not to mention you get your money s worth with him. He wastes no time and every experience with him is a learning eperience that is fun and fulfilling. Don t go anyplace else to learn how to drive. Paul s Driving School is the place to go!

If you are looking for a good instructor i will definitely recommend Al, he worked with me on parallel parking and took me on the high way i am very pleased with my lesson.

Angel is the best driver in Paul's Driving School, HANDS DOWN! He helped me learn all the skills I needed not only for my driving test, but for the real world. He calms your nerves and works with you consistenly with your weaknesses. He has alot of patience and is very responsible.

today i took a driving class wit the best teacher Angel. he is very helpful and alert. he does not give off a vibe like a teacher he is more like a frnd. i love pauls driving school and i would recommend it to anyone who wants to be one of the best driver on the road.

Al the specialist at Paul driving school is the best driving instructor! My first day was to drive to I-95 I was a little scared at first but he was very patient with me.He made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel. I can't wait til my next lesson on Saturday thanks Al see u soon.

After taking driving lessons with "Al the Specialist" I passed my test first try. With having negative aspects to say, my positive out ways the negative. Al is the best with teaching parking. I parked in one swing. Pricing was moderately high but at the end the was worth it. You get what you pay for. I would recommend this driving school.
