Lamp & Shade Outlet

I have been using the lamp and shade outlet for many many years They've repaired many many pictures for me as I try to salvage older fixtures quite frequently. The owner, Mike is a straight up honest fella. He has run that shop honestly for decades now that I have known him personally and used him. You will not find repair shops like this around and very reasonable.

Brought in my antique torchierre lamp to be rewired and get a new diffuser and lampshade. When I picked it up, they replaced the almost-invisible inset cap screw with a wood screw. Not even a lamp screw! I was shocked. Upon further inspection, I was looking at the replacement diffuser and mentioned that it was cracked. The owner/repairman said that it wasn't cracked. I took it out of the lamp and the fitting as cracked and the diffuser as obviously from an old lamp and cleaned up for the next unsuspecting customer. Be very careful about bringing any of your lamps in for repair because these people strip out rare fittings and replace them with hardware that doesn't fit and not even lamp parts. I was shocked. I have been trying to call them all day and nobody answers. Going to the BBB.
