Overall
I didn't want to give this company any stars but had to for this to be published.

I will burn my clothing and furniture before I am FORCED to use this company again. I say forced because basically I was held hostage. When initially contacted I was asked if I had shopped around with other movers. I replied I had and gave the quotes. I was told they could beat the given quotes and was told they could move me for $110.00 per hr because It was higher on week-ends (100.00 during the week). When I was called back for confirmation I was then quoted 125.00 per hr, which was still less than the quotes I received from other competitors so I said nothing and agreed. The day of the move they were 2 1/2 hrs late arriving. They "had problems with the truck". So they came in a U-Haul that was too small for the job and with no padding for the furniture. While the movers were loading the truck the "boss" arrived for payment in cash for the 3 hrs we agreed on. Even though I was not pleased with what had previously transpired, I gave her the money. The movers continued to load the truck between telephone calls, eating and taking their time between the truck and the building.. When the last of the first load was being loaded, the driver came to me and told me it was taking longer than they thought and he was told to collect more money. He said that because of the size of the truck and arriving late, I would not be charged for travel time, just loading and unloading the truck. I explained I would have to stop at an ATM but would give hime the money. While the movers were unloading at the new residence I received a call from the "owner" repeating what the driver had told me. I told her that I had already been informed of the situation. She asked me when would I give the driver the money. I told her today. She told me they needed the money NOW. I replied I could not give them the money NOW since I did not have a financial institution in my home. She said "Thats OK, I'll call you back" and hung up. I promptly turned off my phone and left for the ATM with a friend. Upon returning the driver asked me if I had the money. I replied yes and he returned to unloading the truck. After the truck was unloaded and we were to be returning for the next load he came back to me and told me he was told by his "boss" that he was not to go anywhere and wait because the "boss" was on her way to the building. I did not even want to look at her so I gave the money to my friend for him to deal with her. No need to describe the scene that took placed when she arrived. To make a long story short, she came to the car I was in and demanded more payment. My friend tried to tell her he'd already told the driver he would give the driver the money upon arriving to the building from which I was moving. After arguing for a few minutes he told her he would give her $100.00 then and the balance at the old residence. She asked why and he told her he didn't trust her and it was to insure they showed up at the old residence. She took the money stating she would never do something like that and continue to cause a scene with the driver. The driver then sped out of the driveway so fast the back door of the truck retracted and the dolly they were using flew out into the street (upon which he did not stop or return for; one of the other "movers" retrieved it). My friend & I returned to my previous residence, and waited and waited and waited. They never returned to finish the job. Had there been some way I could've gotten a different mover I would've when I saw the U-Haul coming down the street, but I was stuck. I had no alternative but to go with them. This is my review. Take of it what you will and make your own decision. I hope you make a wiser choice than I.
