Mim's Mediterranean Grill

After a day at the beach we were tired from a day outside in the sun and looking for something quick and light. Mims was perfect for their price range, speed of service, and food quality. The staff are very nice and helpful. Inside of a brightly painted cabin with a colorful but no frills decor, meals complete with gyro, side of either Greek salad or Greek pasta, and drink is just $8.00 and since it's counter service you don't have to factor in tips. If you want seasoned fries instead of a salad in your combo, it's only $7.00.



Most of us ordered a version of their Chicken Gyros, ordered a la carte all varities of gyros are only $5 and they are filling. If you like chicken then you'll appreciate all the choices: grilled, mediterranean, club, pesto, or caesar. Brad and my brother both ordered gyro plates for $8.50 which are like combos, except that they come with the addition of Mims very tasty seasoned rice and without a drink. I think for the money the combos are a better deal but the rice is very good.



Overall, Mims gets our vote for a quick meal that's a step up from fast food and much more affordable than most eateries within the various downtowns. Yes, you will have to drive there and it is small inside so go early or do carry out, it's worth it for a casual no stress meal.
