Walker Tree Service

The guy showed up at my door at 7:00 Am without an appointment. Background: Mike's Tree Service left a flyer on our door. We called for an estimate and an appointment was set for the next day. He did not keep the appointment but did call to say he had forgotten about the appointment and would call the following day. He showed up at our home at 7:00 Am without calling ahead. After giving us the estimate, we stated that we would give him a call. Instead of leaving, he became argumentative and asked for a $12.00 fee for the estimate. We were never informed of the estimate fee. Therefore, we refused to pay. when we refused to pay, he used derogatory comments such as ---"I don't think y'all can afford me." He was then asked to leave. My husband closed the door and we thought that was the end of it. Mike and his accomplice stood in front of our house for more than 10 minutes then rang the doorbell again. Mike asked a 2nd time for $12.00. We refused and again asked him to leave. That's when Mr. Mike became intimidating and threatening. His tone of voice, body language and refusal to leave cause us to fear bodily harm. The only way that we were able to get him off of our property was to call the police. Frankly, we were surprised, disappointed and upset by the action of this company and his employee. We will never ever use them for anything!
