Our condo association recommended Truxall when our bath/shower faucet was leaking. I guess they service our neighborhood a lot. I called in the morning and they were able to send someone out later that day. I was able to turn off the hot water to stop the leak, so it wasn't much of a problem. We'd just turn the hot water back on a few minutes before we needed to shower. I described the issue over the phone, but he still came out, looked at it, and said he didn't have the kit to fix it and would have to come back next week. He said the kit would be about 80 itself, and he couldn't quote me a total price.

Next Monday he comes back and works for a bit. Total time he was at my home between both trips was less than three hours. He hands my girlfriend a bill for $494.00. Just some totally ineligible scribbles, and the number $494.00. We paid it and googled the kit he was talking about. All across the internet you can buy it for less than 50, and amazon has several for about 37-40

And he didn't fix the issue. The water doesn't leak out on its own, but when you run the shower, the bath also goes at almost full blast. It runs the hot water out very quickly and we can only take showers for about 15 minutes at the absolute most. At least before we didn't have to worry about quickly jumping in and out of the shower.

I called and he said it was the fault of the last person who worked on it and it would be another 400 for him to open up our wall and do something else. Why wasn't this explained in the first place? Why did I have to call to get this information? I asked him to email or mail me something to justify the 494 I already paid, and he mailed another half sheet of paper with about 2 extra sentences on it and still no breakdown of the price, just 494.00. Also, they're spelling my three letter first name wrong on the paperwork. Truxall will not be back to my home, I feel totally ripped off. 494 dollars for about a 20% fix on a non-emergency issue. Poor value for my dollar, poor workmanship, poor service.

Had a clogged toilet & two leaks & wasn't even close to as much as I thought it would be. I will use them again!!!
