I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. My mother in law (who Is diabetic) was sent to this facility by recommendation from her doctor for whatever reason. The nursing staff is rude and unproffesional. Not to mention neglectful to their patients needs. During my mother in laws brief stint in this hell hole her overall condition regressed if anything. Avoid this place by all means necessary!

My mom passed away in the facility four months ago. We are due a refund, we have gotten the run around for that long.... Next step probably gonna have to hire an attorney. Office staff is bad, but they are sure to take your money from the beginning tho!!

This is a horrible place. I pulled my mom in less than five days. She forgot to feed her, left her unattended and unchecked for hours, humiliated and frightened and neglected her routinely. Even after discharge, they continued to refuse us our refund for days unused. They did not even know when she was discharged. A horrible, horrible place. Never put a loved one in this heartless facility.

If it was possible, I would give this place a zero! My mother was admitted for rehab for a broken arm. She had bladder retention and self-catherized several times a day before entering. With a broken right arm, she could no longer do that. She ended up with severe UTIs, as they were too lazy to cath often. They offered little to no assistance for feeding (her right arm was broken). She ended up with a Level 4 bedsore and c-diff. I was there twice a day and saw her going downhill daily, but could get no explanation! One evening, she was almost unresponsive! Against their recommendation, I demanded she be transported to HermannHospital in the med center! They were appalled at her bedsore and made a report to the state for neglect! Her c-diff was so bad, her colon had to be removed and a colostomy bag was necessary! My otherwise healthy mom, who entered Paramount, passed away less than a year, after breaking her arm! If we were the type of people who sued others, we could likely own this horrible facility!

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!!

My dad checked in today as a transfer from Methodist Hospital. The staff "forgot" to give him his medicine for Parkinson's at 5pm. He finally got it about 10:30pm. This is a med that has to be given at exact times or he has problems. They also refuse to give him his meds for his Diabetes and told my mom that it wouldn't hurt him to miss a day of all his medicine! She asked to speak to a manager of some sort and was told no. We are getting him out of there first thing in the morning even if I have to bring him home with me. Be very cautious if you put anyone in this place!

avoid at all cost

My brother stayed here about 2 months. He has cerebral palsy he has always had a problem with bowels. They let him get so backed up he was in so much pain that they sent him to the hospital. Once he was in the hospital they said he would have to pay them $135 a day to hold his bed if he did not they would give his bed away. They did not even give him a chance to come up with the money. They packed his stuff in boxes and threw in the hall. It was their fault he was in the hospital, they could have given him fiber or laxatives to easily solve the problem, then they throw him out for being unable to afford their “bed-holding fee”. They were completely callus and approached him with zero compassion. Then they refuse to release his money in trust accounts so he could at least buy his script or have a payment for a new place they basically said they would give us his money when they got around to it.

do not care for patients properly

my grandfather has been there for 4 months and has gone to the hospital already 5 times and last month he had surgery and he fell back in the hospital for a clogged feeding tube and cathider bag doctors have checked him and are surprised and upset bcause he still has the same dressing and stitches from his last surgery on him. not a good place to take a loved one unless you don't care go ahead and admit them there. we are moving him to Pasadena Care Center which has had better ratings that any around that area.
