Faith Presbyterian Church was founded in 1956. One of the charter member suggested that it be known by the name of Faith because it took faith to start a brand new congregation. Ever since we have been people of Faith. We are a community of focused Presbyterians. Our denomination is the largest Presbyterian body in The United States. Our missionary and outreach programs reach the men and women of our armed services as well as the seafarers who travel to and from The Port of Houston. Faith Church we accept the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be God's word for our lives. Each Sunday we have Church School for both children and adults. There is an adult class for those wishing to study The Holy Bible. Our children have classes, which also includes a time of extended Church for the youngsters. The women of Faith Church gather monthly to transact business to purse a Bible study. They gather weekly to pursue many projects to enhance mission and outreach.
