Rose City Pediatrics

I have to say that I have never posted a review on any website before, but coming across the negative reviews below has given me a change of heart.



Speaking as a physician, I can attest to the fact that all of the doctors at Rose City are Fantastic. My son was an ultra-preemie and, needless to say, has required multiple MULTIPLE visits to the pediatricians' office. They have always managed to fit him in on short notice and the doctors are extremely kind and knowledgeable - including Dr. Glenn Schlundt, who has taken wonderful care of my son on more than one occasion.



Please remember to take reviews from disgruntled parents with a large grain of salt. I could not be happier with the care here.

Dr. Glenn Schlundt should not be practicing medicine. He has no bedside manners, will not listen to your concerns, and will become very impatient if you have one too many questions. There are many wonderful pediatricians to choose from. Do not settle for this horrible doctor unless you are willing to never question his behavior or his diagnosis.

We regret our visit to Rose City Pediatrics. Years after our bringing our daughter there we discovered that they made a billing error and sent us to collections. They've left us with the burden of fixing their mistakes. Given the overwhelming negative reviews of the staff you'd think they'd make a change. We certainly have.

There are so many great things to say about Rose City Pediatrics:



* When we need to make a same day or next day sick appointment for our kids, we've ALWAYS gotten in (even on a Saturday!)



* Our main pediatrician, Dr. Powell, is amazing with our kids - they're always excited to see him and LOVE going to the doctor's office (even if they're getting shots, which is big for a 4 year old and 1 year old)



* Every other doctor we've seen at the office has been wonderful as well. It gives us every confidence if we have to see a different doctor on a sick visit.



* The on-call nurse, Francesca, is extremely knowledgeable and has really helped us through quite a few late night worry-filled experiences. And she's given us a diaper rash cream recipe that works better than any prescription cream I've ever seen.



* We've never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room to see our doctor for a scheduled visit, or more than 10 for a sick visit. I wish all doctors offices could be like this.



I highly recommend this office to any new parents out there!

I would not recommend this office to any mothers to take their toddlers. My experience there was awful. The service is awful and the Office Manager, Debra is the worst. She is unprofessional, her attitude is nonchalant and she is discourteous. I left a couple of messages for Dr. Glen Schlundt and he never returned my calls. When you call in to make or cancel an appt you are immediately put on hold and can be placed on hold for over 5 minutes. The staff needs further training on customer service.
