I took my puppy there for a broken leg, needless to say they threw two options at me and didn't recommend the first and the second was amputation , more their recommendation. They seemed angry or just had attitude when I requested a second opinion ,charged me to put xrays on a cd when I already paid for them and told me no vet should touch the dog but an orthapedic surgeon. I took the puppy elsewhere in town and they totally disagreed with amputation and is doing the surgurey almost more then half of their price for amputation and said they have done it before with an 85-90 percent rate of being just fine that it was one of the most common breaks in puppies , how many dogs have lost their limbs cause they think they know what they are talking about. I called other vets for opinions who said the same thing without seeing xrays or the dog. If I have listened to NSE my puppy would only have three legs and I would have a huge bill so they could pay for some more high tech equiptment they d

I have used NSE for both horse and dog. At no time was I impressed. The horse colliced and didn't make it when I said put her down she said let's try a little longer. Long enough to make the bill outrageous. She is extremly overpriced to pay for that pretty clinic I am sure and doesn't have a staff with very good attitudes. I also used her for a simple everyday procedure for my dog and what should have cost about $150.00 wound up somewhere closer to $600.00 and had to bring the dog back several times cause I was the only one who saw the problem but I paid for each trip . Does not make sence to me. I would not recommend them for anything animal wise the clinic looks really nice but there is no one there equivelant to the equiptment for it's use. The doctors are rude their staff has attitude and their bedside manners to your loved ones is not what it should be for the money you pay. I boarded my horse at NSE for about a year. At first everything was fine then slowly I watched it go down hill. Rob (the barn manager) is unhelpful, unfriendly and aggressive. The feed staff is incompetent and I personally saw them drinking while working. I dont know about you but I want my show horse to receive the BEST care and a drunk employee is not going to get it done! There are way too many horses in each paddock and there is very limited shelter. My horse went out in a complete mud pit! There are so many other places to board in fayetteville why waste your time and end up leaving upset? My horse is a much happier girl since she's moved to southern pines! And the only vet that will ever touch her is Dr. Brian Garrett. He is the choice vet for most other facilities.
