The chicken was very tender the spices were a perfect blend

Nice Indian lunch buffet, good food, good value.

Saffron's is a new Indian/Pakistani Restaurant that has opened up where Rustler's Reef used to be located on 23rd Street. This is where we had lunch today. We ate from the buffet. There were several types of chicken, (Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka), Basmati Rice, Naan (bread), Palak Paneer (spinach & cheese), Daal Tarka (Lentils), and Salad. I am told that the buffet offers different dishes everyday. Everything I ate today was wonderful..



Our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. She knew what each dish was and what was in it. When asked she had no problem telling us the dishes she enjoyed best. She even brought out three different sauces for the Chicken Tandoori ( a mint sauce, a bbq sauce, and a chutney). This was a step above just being our waitress, as this is something that is normally only brought out during dinner service.



This is sure to be one of our favorite places to eat. I hope you will visit Saffron's in the near future.
