The reflected sound wave echoes are recorded and displayed as a real-time visual image on TV screen which you will be able to see. No ionizing radiation (x-ray) or injected substances are is involved in ultrasound imaging. Ultrasound is painless, harmless and provides rapid assessment of your body.
