This lady is running a retail rescue! Do not give her a dime of your money! All she wants is more birds, money, and publicity. Her heart is in a very wrong place!

If you ever had to make the painful decision to surrender a Parrot to Sanctuary. The Love and caring here abounds. While still a young Sanctuary the officers have a wonderful vision for the place. All the birds are well kept and cared for and in clean parrot safe and critter proof flights. A++++

I was just up there a little over a week ago. I was able to help sanitize cages, fed all the cuties in the flights as the boss-lady was setting up the new finch flight and medium flight. I even drove 5 hours from there to take a pair of conures to their new, happy forever home. It's great when rescues work together to help birds in need!



I've taken my father up there a few months ago and he had a great time. He fell in love with a moluccan cockatoo in the first flight.



My fiancé was there too, he adopted a sweet lineoated parakeet that is now his best friend.



From the months prior, to now, I've seen great progress in the sanctuary and in the birds. Those with missing feathers had new feathers!



I hope to head up there again soon!

I love the place, The birds are happy, healthy, and full of life. Nothing like seeing them fly freely in the enclosures!

Birds Of Paradise is a wonderful place! The birds are well taken care of and have incredible flights. They do adoption and sanctuary settings for parrots.

I'd tell them your information is not up to date. This is not a pet store. It is an Exotic Bird Sanctuary. It is not closed. The nursery business that was on the property in the past is closed. The sanctuary is running strong, providing homes for unwanted, abused or neglected parrots and has received the highest recommendation from the Manatee Wildlife officers.
