It is a wonderful shop, nowadays there are not too many of these hobby shops left, I myself had a wonderful time.

They have made a customer of me for life

They have a large selection of model kits of all makes and brands and are fairly priced.

If you can get there I say go check them out.

The people that leave a bad review of this place are obvious the ignorant people who have trouble just getting through life. The people at the house of hobbies are probably the most friendly people I've ever met. They been in business for over50 years,is that because they don't know what they're doing,or because they are unfriendly. I don't think so. If you're looking for a hobby this is the place to go!

Planes, Trains, Automobiles, things you can't find anywhere else.... It does not matter what state or country you are in, if you travel anywhere near the west coast of Florida and modeling is your hobby, take the time to stop in and see them.

Highly recommend them, have been going there since my son was 2 and they have EVERYTHING and are super helpful, have never felt like they were rude or mistreated me in any way!! My son LOVES trains, and am so grateful they are so close to us!!

Never had an issue with this store. Have been going there for a few years now. It's not organized to the untrained eye but you ask for anything...anything at all and they have it. May be in a box of bags with parts, parts and more parts, but they have it. I would esitmate 50% of what they have is actually on the floor.



As far as the rudeness... It is a husband, wife, daughter team and while the husband is very chatty, friendly, the wife and daughter are more to the point of helping you. I can understand how other posters may could take this the wrong way. They are very about the the business and getting you what you want in the most efficient way which could be construed as rude. Again if you can't find what you need, tney will have it in 12 different sizes.

I have been a customer of them since the 1990s when they had two stores. they have always been very friendly and gone out of their way to help me including saving me from a purchase i did not need. i would highly recommend them to anyone. the selection of older kits is astonishing.
