McCormick & Schmick's

We had a dinner party of 12 and our reservations were at 4. When we arrived our tables were not ready so we had to wait 20 mins. Once we were seated, it took a while for our drink and dinner order to be taken. All of our food didn't come out at one time, by the time I got my food some of the guest already had eat their food and mine was cold. Overall experience was poor. It was my first time dining there and it will be my last.

Sever was friendly ,Food was great , price was reasonable

Normally, my wife and I like to eat here, however, today the service was inexcusably horrible. We were seated for nearly 10 minutes before James, our waiter, brought our menus, and at least another 10 minutes before he returned to take our order. 16 minutes later, he finally brought my drink, a coke. After waiting 45 minutes for our appetizer, while others seated around us after we arrived were being served their appetizers/food, we decided to leave. 48 minutes after we placed our order, the server brought everything out at once while we were waiting to speak to the manager. The manager made no effort to make things right or apologize, only make excuses that the restaurant is behind and there are multiple tables waiting for longer than 30 minutes for their orders. That to me is a failure to manage and she and James need to find a new line of work. We paid for parking, hourly, and that was more than an hour of our life and money wasted because of McCormick and Schmick’s. Get better management, and maybe we’ll be back with our friends and family. Until then I’ll be spreading the word about the deplorable service.

Do not waste your time or money on this place! The food is mediocre at best and severely overpriced.

I ordered Parmeson sole w/capers it arrived dark brown (had it before in downtown, DC where it was delicious so I knew I was in for a treat) . Wrong, wrong, wrong, it was so salty I sent it back to the kitchen, and ordered a crabcake that was also burnt and salty. I also had roasted potatoes, again too salty I could feel my pressure rising and I only had two. I felt lightheaded and decided to call it a day. This restaurant has no ambiance and no tablecloths either, for the money you spend you may as well go to that other nationwide seafood chain, at least the biscuits are tasty. Terribly disappointing and very drab decor. Dessert (cheesecake) not even worth writing about.
