Overall

This is a horrible medical facility. I once went there for a inflamed swollen hair folical cyst on the back of my head. The doctor at Patient first looked at it and told me what it was and said he was not going to lance it or prescribe any Meds, instead he would refer me to an orthopedic surgeon. When I went to the surgeon a couple of days later the first question he asked me was did the doctor at Patient First prescribe any antibiotics. I told him no that the Patient First doctor just referred me to him. The orthopedic said that the Patient first doctor should have prescribed antibiotics before seeking a surgical procedure. The orthopedic put me on antibiotics and within a few days the cyst was gone. More recently (On or around 10/15/15) I went to this same Patient First to be treated for a sinus infection and a cough I could not shake. After registering, I was taken immediately to the back treatment area where I sat agonizing for over an hour and a half before I was seen by a doctor's assistant who apologized for the long wait (I was told that a shift change had caused the delay). After a short exam the doctor's assistant prescribed an antibiotic and cough MEDs. He then informed me that the Patient First facility could fill both prescriptions, however, one of the prescriptions (the antibiotic) out of pocket copay would be $75 at Patient First but it could be purchased with a cheaper copay at my pharmacy. I ended up going to a Giant pharmacy where out of pocket cost was way way cheaper. A couple of days later 10/17/15, I went back to the same Patient First (shame on me) for treatment (this time for back spasms) and again after registering I was immediately taken back to the treatment area where I sat again for over an hour and a half without being seen. My wife who accompanied me inquired about the long wait because she noticed that patients who came in well after us had been treated and had left the facility. She was informed that the doctor who handles treatment on the side of the floor we were on got tied up with two patients who came in together so we waited 15 more minutes and then left Patient First without being seen. We went to Righttime Medical Care in Pikesvile, MD and was seen right away. Neither I or my family will ever go back to this Patient First for treatment of any kind.

The "Doctors" really have poor...

The "Doctors" really have poorer medical knowledge than patients. They will do X-ray, blood test, urine test, mucus test if you go with a bruise in elbow.

DO NOT GO HERE! This physician...

DO NOT GO HERE! This physician that saw me was terrible. Dr. Lihua Xu did not care about my well-being at all and made a diagnosis immediately without asking any questions. Save yourself time and money and go to a real doctor. I will never go to a Patient First again. This place was a complete joke.
