I have lived in Oviedo for 11 years and drive by the Vine at least 2x a day. It would be sooo convenient to have a thrift store with good people with good intentions so close by BUT I have never had a good experience yet with the owner. She has always been impatient, unhelpful and cold. I tried one last time today and once again was greeted with the same lack of empathy. The Vine is also overpriced but even that wouldn't keep me away if the owner was kind and helpful. The volunteers are usually very nice.

If you haven't come visited this place your missing out...They have items here for all ages. The owner, Cindy does such wonderful things for people. She's caring, kind hearted and just wants to see others succeed in life. Helping out here the last few weeks, I've seen her give back to anyone that may not be as fortunate or just going through rough times. She's held free pot luck food drives to feed anyone that wanted to stop by. You can't go wrong visiting the Thrift Store and knowing that everything that is done here is most importantly done for a good cause.

The owner Cindy is an amazing lady I know her personally and she will do everything she can to help u out when you're in a time of need. I shop here a lot knowing that the money that I give goes for the good of the community not just to benefit the workers and the store.
Thank you so much for your positive review! We all work really hard to help our community here at The Forgotten Ones, Inc. We love Cindy so much! She helps us all as much as she can! =) - B. Payne, COO, The Forgotten Ones, Inc.

The only things I find in the store that may be expensive to some are antiques, and collectibles that are worth what is being asked. The clothing is extremely inexpensive, as well as the dishes, shoes, knick knacks, etc... I also love that I am shopping for charity. Every cent we spend in this thrift shop goes to helping someone in need.
Thank you for your positive review! and noticing the value of the antique/vintage items in our store. The funds from our thrift store go directly to helping our Clients in The Resource Center. - B. Payne, COO, The Forgotten Ones, Inc

Not worth the trip. Way outrageously overpriced. Should not be called a thrift store!
Please stop by again, as we have looked into pricing since you have last made your post. I apologize that you felt like this. - B. Payne, COO, The Forgotten Ones, Inc

Items are way over priced! The owner is often rude and confrontational. I found the volunteers to be very friendly and helpful. The store is extremely crowded and not accessible for people in wheelchairs!
We have recently looked into our pricing, and things have changed since your post. I apologize that you felt this way, and I hope that you come back to our store soon. We work with the space we are provided. Our store was converted from a house to a store so we don't have much room. We try to keep the aisles as clear as possible. - B. They seem very overpriced. The several times i have been there, it was way over my budget and over normal prices of a garage sale. Some items I know I could buy new for just a few dollars more. I wanted to purchase a fan they had for sale at $10 which was more than it would have cost new. They weren't willing to negotiate either. Not for bargin hunters or people in need of things at a low price.
We have recently looked into our pricing, since your last post. Please stop by! Keep in mind that the items being sold in our store fund our Resource Center, where we preform case management for each of our clients to help them with their immediate needs, assisting them to get back on their feet. - B.
