Warts
Cryotherapy
Sick care at Premier Pediatrics includes evaluation and treatment of any routine pediatric medical condition. We offer limited suturing and casting, cryotherapy (freezing) for warts, nebulizer treatments for acute respiratory disease, intramuscular antibiotics, and IV fluids. Our in house labs include: rapid strep and mono tests, complete blood count, dip stick urinalysis, flu testing, glucose screen, RSV testing, Urine HCG (pregnancy test), TSH (thyroid), Lipid Panel (including cholesterol) and more. We have the ability to monitor asthma patients with spirometry (a computerized breathing test).
Pediatric Care
Premier Pediatrics is a small office in the heart of Overland Park comprised of three full-time physicians: Dr. Deborah Winburn-Antovoni, Dr. Todd Bush and Dr. Sarah Jensen. We also have four nurse practitioners, Carlos Morales, Stacey Shoman, Paige Mulgrew and Maddie Ehlers.
Primary Care
Through that experience, I was able to experience living on the east coast, overseas in Japan, and finally, in Chicago. I was able to practice medicine as a Pediatric Intern, an Emergency Medicine Physician (General Medical Officer), and an Assistant Team Director in the Medical Clinic and the Great Lakes Naval Training Center. All three experiences contributed to my overall ability to treat the whole patient as a primary care resource, and to my deep sense of patriotism for the United States and for the men and women who serve to protect it.
Ear Infections
Walk-in visits may address all sorts of concerns and acute issues; examples may include ear infections, rashes, sore throats, eye problems, warts, bug bites, bumps and scrapes, etc.
Family Practice
A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse (RN) who has additional education and training in a specialty area such as family practice or pediatrics. Pediatric and family practice NPs can provide regular health care for kids.
Emergency Care
HMO Insurances and Walk-In Clinic: Patients who are members of our practice and have HMO insurances are welcome to use our walk-in clinic at anytime. However, if your child is not a member of our practice, please note that we are not considered an urgent care clinic under the HMO guidelines. You will need to see your child’s primary care provider or another provider approved by your insurance company.
