Pooch & Purr Pet Grooming

I have a3 year old white poodle that needed grooming, her hair was matted when I dropped her off .I was told that the shop will be closed at 5 ,quarter to 4 I was called by a gentleman who told me my dog was ready and I needed to pick her up within 15 minutes I told him I was told by the young lady the shop close by 5 and that he cannot call me now and expects me to pick up the dog within 15 minutes ...he said he has a family to go home to.neither the less I had someone pick my dog up upon bringing the dog home my friend told me that my dog right leg was cut at least an inch and a half I asked her why did she not call me while she was there she replied her phone died and that they refuse to give her receipt and said its a small cut.btw never once did the gentleman that called me rushing me to get my dog told me that he nipped my dog but he did tell the person who pick my dog up that because the hair was so mad did that's how she got cut.I call petsmart and ask them how does this work when a dog is matted I was advised that when a dog is matted they shave the dogs hair not a scissors and even if a scissors is used it will be carefully cut to avoid cutting a dog's skin. obviously this was a rush job and they did not care one bit to notify the owner that my dog was cut I will never ever use their service again .I give them a star because I could not give none at all.if you want a rush job or a unprofessional job done to your dog by all means go to them. I will never support their local business again now I see why people stick with big corporations because local companies are unprofessional just like this company.

if you want to go in and explain what you want and they ignore and buzz your dog down with a #1 clipper and bring your dog home with no eyelashes and cuts to skin then this is the place for you !

This place has definitely gone done in service. My first complaint is the amount of time it takes. Instead of making appointments, they take as many dogs as possible on a first come first serve basis. They will keep your dog for up to 7 hours which is ridiculous. They prices have gone up. You might as well take your dogs somewhere cleaner & more professional such as Petsmart. I took my dog here to be groomed. Not only did they cut my dog very badly with the clippers & not tell me, when I confronted them about it, they lied & said it was a hot spot. I immediately took my dog to the emergency vet who confirmed it was indeed a deep cut. The bill for this apptment - $150. I will NEVER use this groomer again. If in this area I recommend "Little Shop of Grooming" in Ocoee. Just make your appointment a week in advance. The prices and service will definitely be worth the wait.

This facility does not make appointments. They accept pets until 11:00 am and SUPPOSEDLY groom pets on a first come, first serve basis. I dropped off my dog at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. At 4:30 that afternoon ��� 7 hours later ��� they were still unable to tell me on the phone when my dog would be ready. Since I needed to go out of town, I decided to just go pick up my dog and take her somewhere else at a later date. Earlier that morning when I dropped my dog off, there were two Shar Peis being brought in as I was leaving. When I arrived that afternoon to pick up my dog, the Shar Peis were in the back being groomed! And when the representative opened her book to show me how many dogs had come before me, I saw that several names that came after mine on the list had already been crossed out. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge me $15 for a bath! Furthermore, this place is physically a dump! It is completely unprofessional in appearance, run down, dirty, and smelly. The people who work there look as though they were just released from prison. It is by far THE WORST pet grooming place I���ve ever had the misfortune of visiting, and I wouldn���t take any of my pets there even if it was the only pet groomer in Orlando.
