Neighborhood Kids Academy

Neighborhood kids Academy is the best daycare I have yet to find, my four-year-old and my one year-old absolutely adore their teachers and the daycare… It is very family oriented, clean and organized. Since we've moved, I drive an hour everyday just to take them because I wouldn't take them anywhere else! Highly recommended.

It is a great family oriented daycare, my son learned a lot and love everything about it. Very clean and the staff and teachers are great.. After searching thru 15 daycare centers, yes this was the one for my son. Thanks for everything...

My name is Abbie and my son has attended NKA for almost three years now. The school is predominantly family operated and the other employees are the most caring and compassionate people I have encountered in a childcare facility. From the time my son arrives at school, he has structure, vast opportunities to learn, one-on-one attention as well as group activities, positive reinforcement and redirection, and love from his caregivers when I am working. It is a wonderful feeling to know that my child is safe and happy when I have to be at my job. The owners are consistent, fair, and run their business the way EVERY childcare facility should. I would definitely recommend NKA to my friends, family members, and anyone in need of childcare for their kids

In regards to the last comment, We are very sorry you view our facility in such a light. However, there are some issues NKA would like to address. Our 2 year old teacher has her Bachelors in Early Childhood development and being bilingual is a necessity in the Orlando area. When it comes to potty training, each child is unique in their development and all children must develop at their own rate. We must use pull ups in the potty training process as to prevent unsanitary conditions in the classroom. If a child is not ready for underwear we cannot force the potty training process upon them, it is against DCF rules and regulations. As your child was only enrolled for a week, we do not claim to work miracles! For the matter of medical records, it is every parents responsibility to pick up his/her child's documentation, we do not withhold information, we simply cannot send any documents out. We hope you have the best of luck with potty training your child, just remember to be patient and not rush a child that is not ready!

They barely speak English. They say they potty train but in all actuality they don't. They kept my child's personal medical records even after I unenrolled him and they were telling other people why I took him out. Very unprofessional and they make you feel like a piece of crap.

Excellent daycare to send your children to, the staff is compassionate about children and education. I love the facility, it is open parents during business hours. I have spent hours in the daycare, I randomly come and check on my son. The directors and staff are very welcoming offering me breakfast and lunch. My son has attended Neighborhood Kids Academy for almost a year and a half, he loves his friends and his teacher. He comes home singing songs and telling me about his experience and how he loves his teacher. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone who would love their child to be in a clean, healthy, learning environment. The class schedule and lunch menu are made available every week, parent teacher conferences are available, the playground area is nice, and the food is delicious. Neighborhood Kids Academy is one of a kind, the staff is more like extended family.
