Lake Nona Ophthalmology, P.L.

The other day I went to the iSpa at Lake Nona Ophthalmology. This was my first trip to a medical spa. Once I entered the office, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and was checked in for my appointment. After sitting for just a few minutes, I was brought back by Dr. Patel for my initial consultation. We went over my medical history and he asked me if I had any questions or concerns. I’m 29 and still get random acne break outs. I’ve been to dermatologists before, but now I am looking for a different approach for treating my acne. Besides wanting to have clear skin, I also want to start trying to maintain a youthful appearance. Even though I’m only 29, I feel that sooner is better than later when it comes to keeping up with the health of my skin!

After I was finished with my consultation with Dr. Patel, he introduced me to his Aesthetician, Angie. She was very nice and brought me into a relaxing room where iSpa patients are treated. I told her my concerns and she agreed that coming in at my age was a great idea. Angie preformed a mini-facial, also known as a “lunch-time” facial. The practice is offering free mini-facials and consultations for all new patients right now, so I was sure to take advantage of such a deal.

She evaluated my skin and then discussed what she thought would be the best course of treatment for my face. Angie informed me of the different products she thought would help and explained how they worked and how to use them. I never felt pressured to buy anything, but did leave with a product that I will use every day that will benefit my skin. I 100% plan on going back for another facial and look forward to my next relaxing visit to the iSpa at Lake Nona Ophthalmology.
