        Layout design is what I do best. Always thinking out the box, I use elements that give depth and a tri-dimensional feel to the design. I begin designing during the 80’s when there were no computers. Cutting and pasting transparencies with text, gradients and four color photo films created the desired layout. However, by the beginning of the 90’s computers were capable of doing the same job more efficiently, so I jumped on it. In the early 90’s I bought my first computer and programs such as Photoshop 1.5, Page Maker 1.5 and Corel Draw 1.0. I started studying the tools, understanding how they work and figuring out how to make them interact with each other. At the time this was no easy task. During the 90’s I worked with magazines, designed marketing materials and product labels but by 1996 designing websites was my new challenge. I studied basic programming in College, so HTML was no mystery to me. This also made possible the interaction with programmers that used other languages such as PhP, ASP, JavaScript, etc. Actually, knowing the basics of programming has been a great asset in my website development skills set. After a few years designing websites, I figured out that 3D and video editing would play a big role on the internet. Once again, I learned 3D Studio Max, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. Throughout this past decade, I worked with photographers doing image editing, with programmers developing websites and editing video for music and commercial videos. After almost 30 years, I have not only mastered designing but also learned how to brainstorm, plan and manage projects. Just visit my portfolio and let my work speak for itself!
