Hunter's Creek Pediatrics

He LAUGHED at me when I brought up a concern about my child. Has refused to write specialist referral after ongoing chronic problems. He suggested that I just pull him out of school. I again requested the specialist. Then he said maybe I should just pick up the medical records and find a new doctor. I did just that!

Have three girls, 20, 16, & 11. We have been going to Dr. Dobbins since our oldest was quite young. He is a fantastic doctor with a great staff along side him to offer my daughters the best care possible. I couldn't imagine not having him care for them and needing another doctor. He, by far, is the best pediatrician around.

Dr. Dobbins is by far the best pediatrician there is! He's been my children's doctor for over 15 years and could not imagine having any other doctor care for my girls.

Dr. Dobbins has been our doctor for over seven years now. He and his staff has taken excellent care of our son and we are happy that he will providing care for the new son on the way.



We first met Dr. Dobbins giving a presentation at a first time parents course at Celebration Hospital. He mentioned then that he wears jeans to help make the children comfortable around him. I work at a hospital myself and know the white coat can be frightening to some children. He always takes the time to make our son comfortable and speaks to BOTH of us (parent and to the child) about what his going on. I really appreciate that extra touch in allowing the child the opportunity to describe what is going on and explaining what needs to be done to make it right.

Incredible doctor. His wife works gives all the shots! She is great. His new girl Maria is wonderful and full of life. I understand he is going to hire another new pediatrician very soon, a wonderful woman, I am told. We have been going to his office for 5 years now. His new staff is wonderful and friendlier than ever. He has helped me and my family through some very tough times, illnesses, deaths. a divorce and financial struggles! He is a GOD SEND to the Hunter's Creek and the surrounding areas. Once you meet him you will understand what I mean. I have recommended him at work, to my friends and to all my church community (he is very faith oriented, not a "bible thumper", though). He has a gift with children and always seems to put mine at ease, even when thye are extrememly ill. He is probably the most gentle man I have ever met. You simply can not find a better doctor in this area for your kids, PERIOD! (and I have seen most of them in the area.) GOD BLESS YOU! Dr. Dobbins!

I was blessed to find Dr. Dobbins after taking my daughter to a doctor office where she was seen by a different doctor every time we went there. I wanted an office where a rapport could be established. Dr. Dobbins office is just that. I know that when I take my children to his office they will be treated kindly and effectively. Dr. Dobbins takes the time to answer any questions that we might have and doesn't make us feel like our time is up. He and Dori are kind, caring, and thorough. I have never had problems getting an appointment the same day. I have even received follow-up calls just to make sure my children were ok.



Eight years later and we still experience the same phenomenal treatment during every visit! I strongly recommend Hunter's Creek Pediatrics!!

I am the mother of 2 premature kids. The most recent is 32 weeks. I had another pediatrician with my first. Quite frankly the local pediatrician she had was awful. I am truly THANKFUL I found Dr. Dobbins for my most recent little girl. He diagnosed things they missed at the hospital. His referals have been great (not for no reason) and he was right with the diagnosis. All the specialists know him personally and speak highly of him. He seems to be known by everyone, even the nurses and staff in the hospital and offices, all the consensus is that he is GREAT. He will come in on his days off and after hours if you need him. He also takes lots of time to answer any and all questions on office visits, despite the always office full of patients. THANKS AGAIN DR. DOBBINS FOR ALL YOU DO!!!

I don't know where to begin with Dr. Dobbins. I have been his patient since my early teens. I remember he would always talk to me with respect (even when I was in to see him about my behavioral issues, I had a lot of these). I never felt talked down to, he never pushed me to tell him things, he was always extremely understanding. I felt I could trust him with any of my problems. Truly a very compassionate man. That is why I decided to drive all the way from Mount Dora so he can look after my new baby. Yes, I am know 21 and a new mommy. I would never trust ANYONE else in the world with him. "DOC" is truly one of a kind and a gift sent to all of us from God. I am forever grateful to him for helping me during my teen years and turning me "around". THANKS DOC!!!
