Visiting the Orlando area for a few days, I made an early morning breakfast run to Denny’s on International Drive. Walking distance from my hotel, it’s open 24/7.

Quickly seated in an almost empty restaurant, I couldn’t help but to notice the “safety” updates. Plexiglass shields between the booths and plenty of hand sanitizer by the door. Staff were wearing masks – but so was I.

Polite and efficient, my server – Bree – handed over a menu and asked whether I wanted coffee. Great idea – coffee. After all, it was 3:30 in the morning and I hadn’t had my first cup yet. Ordering the coffee, she indicated that a fresh pot would be made.

Bree suggested the “Original Grand Slam Breakfast” as the best deal on the menu. Two buttermilk pancakes, two bacon strips, two sausage links, two eggs, and hash browns. Easy order – quick and simple.

Breakfast was tasty and served as expected. Bree made sure to keep my coffee cup filled and even prepared a “to go” cup upon my departure. I declined a box for leftovers.

Restaurant was clean and modern – no issues with sanitation. Plenty of parking and located in Convention Center area of I-Drive, it’s close to everything.

Hostess great! Food and service poor. Will never return to this denny's. Burned the eggs and bacon hushpuppies. Eggs were tasty but returned the puppies; when puppies returned combined with my friends order. I didn't like that! Epic fail!
