Pacific Winds Apartments

I currently live here. I can't speak for the new manager, but the new management in general is terrible. If they were to bring back the old manager and assistant manager then I would consider renewing my lease when it is up. The old management had personable people who knew how to properly handle situations and I never once had any of them give me attitude or talk to me so rudely.

I've had a few talks with the assistant manager, and I will leave names out of this, but I've never seen any kind management be so terrible at handling customer complaints. I have talked to her in particular multiple times about various complaints, like the dryer not working in our building and our hallways smelling like weed. And I've been talked back to, told there is nothing they will do for me, treated like I don't matter, and told in the most rude ways that they will post notes about problems or get them fixed promptly. I have seen none of the things done that I've been told would be, and I've been treated with disrespect by an assistant manager that could not have handled a frustrated resident any worse if she had tried!

This changing of management in our leasing office is probably the worst decision that this new company that owns Pacific Winds has ever made. They may have taken on a lot with this apartment complex and the problems it has been facing, but if there are people running this place now like the assistant manager, then they can make all the changes they want to this apartment complex and still have people wanting to move out. You work in a leasing office. People are going to come in with complaints. And if you are not a people person and you can't handle complaints without being offensively impolite and discourteous, then you need to quit.

If the assistant manager handles customer complaints so poorly, I can't imagine how they actually are running things here now and the kind of people they are hiring.

When I moved in, I would've given this place a 5 star rating based on the staff alone because they were so great. Now I wish I could give it a 0 star rating.
