        Overall

        Would absolutely not recommend this facility! Three Directors in less than 15 months. Staff was rude & disrespectful. Did not care about patient care & did not respond to patient needs. Mis-managed patient medications. Corporate Office (Ecumen) were completely unresponsive. No respect for quality of care of residents.

        I moved my father out of Esprit after 8 months. He was in the memory care unit and was treated disrespectfully by some of the staff. The whole time he was there they couldn't keep other residents out of his room day and night. The food was often cold. They gave him medication without a doctor's approval or informing me. They were unresponsive to requests. It took weeks for them to fix a hole in his shower. There was constant staff turnover, many new people who didn't have a clue. And they made billing mistakes that took them months to figure out. Very unprofessional and not the type of organization to entrust your loved one to.

        I would not recommend this organization. My father was in their Memory Care Unit and I moved him after less than a year. Staff was disrespectful, the food was often cold. They could not keep other residents from going into his room all times of the day. They gave him medication without a doctor's approval or informing me. They were not responsive to requests. It took weeks for them to fix a hole in his shower. They made billing errors at least twice in a 4 month period. Staff was constantly turning over. Highly unprofessional.
