I understand exactly what you are talking about. I live here as well and these complaints are true. Your electric bill is always over 200.00 here in my apartment too. It is always hot in the master bedroom. Plus the doors and garages are a big issue here in my building too. If you tell management they put notes up and it's like they truly let people in here who don't care and we pay a large amount of rent here and I thought this would eliminate us from being around tenants who can't read or obey laws.

This is My room mate and myselfs first year at our apartment, and we both agree that this will be our last.
We have had several issues since moving in a few months ago. The master bathroom toilette literally fell apart, and they forced us to either deal with a broken toilette or pay for something we did not break. The front door does not close tightly and often eases open of its own accord. The sliding doors stick, and the screen sliding doors fall off all the time. The controlled access door sticks and sometimes takes 15 or more minutes just to get inside the building. The underground parking door sticks and most the time does not even open.
When we first moved in we found that when they remodled the apartment they just drywalled over the cable line, and neglected to tell us this. When we discovered it on our own, they said it would be done in the week. It took them a month to get it done with multiple phone calls. We have found that no matter how small the fix is they never keep to the time they tell and we always end up calling back about the issue.
The worse thing that has happened so far, the ac. It is summer and I don't think an apartment should be 80 degrees inside. We have had mechanics from the apartments come look at it three seperate times in one month telling us over and over again that to keep it on its working fine. Its 80 degrees and we get an electric bill of 300 dollars!! I don't think that is working fine.
When we called to tell them about the bill they made several excuses as to why they should not help us pay it since we made them aware of this issue several times. Its still not fixed at this time even!
We have had problems with people leaving the controlled access door propped open for others as the buzzer does not work half the time, or the door lock. People have pulled the fire alarm disrupting the entire building for over 20 minutes.
All in all, not worth the money one bit. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have seen several people leave since we have been here for the same reasons.
