DC Centre Banquet Facility

I'm 24 and paid for my whole wedding every single penny of it by myself so I'm taking this very seriously! To start it off THEY BOOKED TWO CEREMONIES AT THE SAME TIME OUTSIDE! Maggie called me a week before my wedding and explained to me that the outside wedding that I've been planning on forever couldn't work because their computer messed up! So she offered me a step up in their bar and the whole decoration package! I think I deserved a bit more or at least my ceremony money back! She didn't even seem apologetic just walked all over me trying to say the it get bride was hard to work with and I was such a doll to work with! well day of wedding comes and the bridal suite where the bride gets usually gets dress at is taken by the people that get the outside ceremony so I get put back in the back office with no mirror to get ready in or no bathroom nothing ! And then I paid for an upgrade for the sign in table and the wishing tree was there but no cards to put any wishes on so what did I pay my 150$ for!! They said the food was suppose to be out for an hour and a half was out for only 45 mins! Forgot our champagne for out head table and had no cake cutter so my mom (mother of the bride!!!) had to cut the cake! And then lastly tried to shut it down at 11:15 instead of midnight I want my full 6 hours ! It was just a wreck but food was great though!

I had a Birthday/First communion party for my family at the DC Centre. They took the worry out of the entire event! The room was beautiful and the staff was on top of everything. We had a couple of family members that arrived late so we asked that they served the meal a little later. They did it without a second thought. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to hold an event to remember!!

I will never recommend anyone to rent at the DC Centre, I didn't even give them my deposit for my Wedding reception before my fiance and I decided we were nt going with them. I had made two appts with them to see the Venue, once with my maid of honor, the second time with my fiance, and then one day I call just to see if I can move my wedding reception up since we wanted to get married sooner. And the owner (Mr. Christianson) gets on the phone and was rude and questioning me why I wanted to change my wedding date. SO my fiance and I went to the DC Centre, and he sat there the whole time and argued with me not really knowing what was going on, and just because he's the type of guy that could never be told he's wrong. I am so glad that I found out the way he was as a business owner, when 90% of the time their venue is for weddings/reception and that's how they treat their future bride and groom! I am just happy we are going to a place that is going to make our Big day beautiful as it could be!~

I attended a wedding reception at the DC Centre in Omaha NE this last month. The facility looks nice but the service is poor and the price is way too high. The bride and groom pre-paid for alcohol but the guests were being charged $2 a beer. When the manager was approached about this he argued with the bride and groom at the head table for all the guests to see! How unprofessional!! The only way to remedy this was to give the manager another check. He based his price on a head-count he guessed and charged alcohol for guests age 6 and up! How unethical!!! Brides and grooms-to-be there are many better places in Omaha to spend your perfect day. The DC Centre will only ruin your wedding reception.
