Air Zone Air Conditioning

Horrible company. They were hired by American Home Shield to come fix my air conditioning. That was yesterday August 6, 2015. The technician told me that they would have to order the part from York and left. I called this morning at 10:30 to make sure the part was ordered and was told that they would put the order on the person desk that orders parts. the technician called me @ 2:00 p. and said that the part might be in by 4:00p.m. but that he didn't want to get my hopes up. I get a call at 5:00 p.m. and the guy from air zone tells me the part won't be in until Tuesday August 11, 2015. I asked him how he had the part shipped and he avoided the question. finally I get it out of him that they ordered it standard delivery. I tell him to overnight it and I will pay for the overnight delivery. Because this guy waited until 5:00 pm to call me the York supplier was already closed. This is par for the course with AC folks that do warranty work. My recommendation: don't use this people and don't use AHS. Oh by the way I am in florida with a family of five and it is 90 degrees inside. Feels like temperature outside is 106.

Last year Air Zone installed a brand new system into my home and me and my family couldn't be any more satisfied. They called me last week for a free anniversary tune up. You can tell they really care about the work they do there. AWESOME.

My experience with Air Zone was completely different. They were quick to schedule and called while on the way so I could get home in time to let them in. The technician made sure I really understood what the issue was (condenser fan not working). Overall, I was happy with the service I received.

Never use this company. Read other reviews for verification. They are void of any customer service.



Their repair people seem low quality. They take an unacceptably long time to repair - as of this writing our central A/C unit has been down for 12 days (FL in July). They go away, say they are going to call and never do. When you call you get dismissive, unapologetic people. ("My manager was about to call you...") Really?



The second technician took a part "to the shop" to be repaired. I said to have them call me when it gets in the shop. Five days later, I call to find out that they do not repair those parts -- they send those parts to another company. It will be 6 - 10 more business days.



American Home Shield customers -- recommend that this contractor not be used. You can also put them on your "Do not use" list.
