Salon Crimson

I have been going to another salon in another town and they just have not been able to get my color right. I went to see Michele after a friend of mine highly recommended her. I am glad I did. Not only did she correct my previous coloring, she gave me beautiful highlights, a conditioning treatment and a lesson on how to style my hair so that it comes out the same every time. I'll be back!

I lucked out with Michele at Salon Crimson. My first time there, I walked into this friendly, cozy salon, sat in the chair and told Michele I was ready for a new style. She took her time with me, listening to to what I explained about not wanting to spend much time styling each day, but needing something a bit more sophisticated than the messy mop I had. She suggested a shorter style. I watched her bring fullness to my hair using techniques I'd never seen before. And 30 minutes later, I was so pleased to see what she had created. The style is exactly what I was looking for without even knowing it. I highly recommend Salon Crimson. I went there to try something new and because it was close to home. I'll return because I got the best haircut ever in a low-key, reasonably-priced salon.

I haven't had a better haircut since I started coming to this place. I was recommended this place by a friend and then I read the reviews but I decided to give it a chance based on my friend's recommendation (whom I trust implicitly). I think whomever wrote that nasty review is jealous competiion.

I absolutely love this place. I went to them after another salon botched my hair before my wedding. Not only did my stylist correct all the previous coloring, it looked better than I ever imagined. The place was spotless and decorum was beautiful. I never felt more beautiful on my wedding day! I have gone back and had different stylists. It is obvious that these girls know what they are doing. I have since recommended this salon to several of my friends and they love it as much as I do. They also go out of their way to to fit us in to accomodate our busy schedules.

Aside from the genuine try of the salon people for some butler-like customer service, I have no other positive impressions from this place.

Poor or no technique for haircutting; a good looking haircut seems to be more of a coincidence rather than a talent. Not impressed from color, also, color does not keep up and has transformed into other colors, it is not good when this happens after professional color has been applied.

Would not go back for a new appointment; would not go back for a correction. Would be embarrassed to recommend.

Not sure what salon Betalabs actually went to. I know that I got the best haircut I ever had at the newest salon in Saybrook. This place and the staff is a real gem! Customer service is great, "Good Afternoon. Welcome. Can I take your coat? Would you care for coffee, tea or bottled water? Your stylist will be with you shortly." Can't remember the last time I was even acknowledged, never mind literally catered to in hair salon or any business at all, come to think of it. Prices are very fair and the people are happy and friendly. Place is awesome and totally comfortable. A new standard has been set. This one will be tough to beat

the result you get here makes you cry from pain and anger.

the worst hair I have ever had! went back for a correction - not even an apology, made it even worse!

bottom line: if you have average short hair and want to puff it up like all the like ladies who are over 50 - go there; this is the place for you.
