The Kansas Highway Patrol is a law enforcement agency that provides a range of protection and security services. The agency has a staff of more than 800 men and women that performs patrol security services. It also employs police officers and guards, motor carrier inspectors, communications specialists, vehicle identification number inspectors and civilians in a variety of other support positions. The agency offers the PARTNERS program in which supplies and equipment for counter-drug activities can be purchased at discounted prices through federal purchasing channels.
