Hope Unit

My father is currently in this unit and I have been treated very rudely by the staff that answers the phone when I call and try to talk to a doctor. I wanted to visit with my fathers doctor before he began treatment with my father so I could convey what his family has noticed, and in particular, changes in his behavior which we believe is from over-medication. It has now been almost a week that I have left messages for the doctor and I was told by the staff that answered the calls that they could not guarantee when or if the doctor would get back with me as they had nothing to do with that, it was up to the doctor. The last person I dealt with who knew who I was when I called in, due to caller ID, ended up hanging up on me. This is what I found on their website and I find it very ironic, upon receiving the kind of treatment I did: We also know how vital family and friends are to a patients overall
