Sushi Hayashi

This is the best sushi in ok. I've been working in sushi restaurant in Colorado Springs and Waco TX. This place has pretty good sushi. The lady in the front is fine, and I don't understand all the bad review about her. If you don't try sushi in there, you are making a huge mistake. Also, I've been In The Raw and never going back there again. They just don't know how to cook sushi rice.

This is the best sushi in town. I've tried all the sushi restaurants in OKC area and I have to say this one is the best by far.

Great food and service. We eat here for lunch quite often. The owner takes great pride in his work and always has fresh fish and new ideas to keep us coming back. Now, its the only sushi place I eat at.

What a wonderful place to eat! The absolute best fish and rolls in town with service to match. Anytime you want sushi or just a great restaurant look no further!

The food was good and the service was really good too! I really enjoyed how comfortable I felt at the restaurant and it was really clean! Try the dragon roll!

I just recently visited sushi hayashi and had a great experience. The servers were great and the food was even better. The sushi there is fresh and generous in size. This place its by far the best sushi in Oklahoma!

Lady at the front is incredibly rude, service is awful. I was very shocked to find this out since the restaurant is in a nice area. I recommend Tokyo House in North OKC. Its by far way better in all aspects.

The sushi is awesome. I'm never disappointed in the food. But the owner could be friendlier.

I have tried every sushi restaurant/bar in this state, and this place has the best sushi by far. Sushi quality is all that counts in my book. I admit the owner is a little stern and undiplomatic, but that is part of her culture. There is also a little bit of a language barrier. Looking at some of the reviews, I can understand the basis of their complaints, but I personally have no problems with her. You can find a more genteel environment, but if the sushi mediocre it does not matter. Most of the sushi in this state is mediocre.

This place has the most unfriendly people working there and they will try to force you to pay an 18% tip even for a party of "2" which I think is insane for the subpar unfriendly service that they offer. I will never eat there again and I tell everyone I know about my experience that I had there. If you want sushi and you are in Okla. City there are many other options DON'T Waste your time with these people! I give them one star because the site will not let me give them none!

Awful, Awful, Awful. the owners wife is an idiot and mean and crude. She charged 18% and when someone in our party said that was ridiculous because the service from her was so awful she said "go somewhere else then"!!!!! I was charged $2.50 for a can of coke. The whole experience was awful. She wouldnt answer any questions about the menu. We wanted a boat of sushi and she wouldnt give us any information so we ended up with something we didnt even want. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THAT AWFUL PLACE. THE OWNERS WIFE NEEDS TO FIND HER HAPPY PLACE AND REALIZE THE ECONOMY IS BAD AND THEY NEED THE BUSINESS!!!! IDIOT!

I admit the sushi is good, but that's the only positive thing I can say. I have never been treated so rudely in my life! The owner was serving (I use that term loosely) us. She yelled at us, would not answer our questions, and was extremely rude. We were only a party of 5, and yet she added 18% to our bill. Normally, I would not mind this, but the service was horrible! When we questioned the bill she said, 'if you don't like it, go somewhere else." You know what, I will. I will never go back. If they continue to treat people like that I don't know how they will stay in business.

THE OWNER LADY NEEDS TO GET THE CHOPSTICK OUT OF HER REAR!!!! The absolute RUDEST service I have EVER had, and she tried to rip me off by adding $6 extra dollars to my bill. Watch out because you will NOT get an itemized receipt, and she will add everything up on her calculator instead of the register so you can't see her numbers. PLUS she "added" an automatic 18% gratuity fee to our bills. We only had THREE people!!! WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!

You will not find a better sushi place in okc. The rolls are huge and flavored just right. The setting is wonderful and conveniently located. The servers are great and prompt. The woman running the cash register, (I assume she is the manager/owner) is sometimes far less than courteous and could substantially improve her customer relations, but we will continue going back because the food is so good and the price is right.
