Rick's House of Fire

This is our third winter with our LOPI wood burning insert that we purchased from Rick's. We LOVE the LOPI technology, as I am asthmatic and there is zero smoke-smell in the house. This unit replaced a nasty, ventless gas insert and fortunately the fireplace was originally built as a wood burning fireplace. I was leery about using Rick's because of the reviews but the process went smoothly and we are thrilled with the product. Well worth the investment.

They are a very informative business that was able to answer any question I had concerning my fireplace and outdoor island at the house that I just bought. They spent the extra time to explain every detail in what needs to be done to make sure the remodel is done perfectly while also suggesting great sub-contractors to work with! Then the products they sold me were worth every penny. I would recommend them to all my friends.

If you buy an item make sure it is right before you leave. I telephoned to find a 6" roof flashing. The gentleman said he had it. I went to the store, bought the flashing and when I got home discovered I had a 7" flashing. On return it was suggested I should have used the flashing anyway and just put a storm collar over it.
