Overall
Not A Good Place

I ate at Primo's D'Italia, an Italian restaurant on the SW side of Oklahoma City this afternoon, with my wife. For two people, the price came to 35 dollars, an average price for two meals in that area of the town. The hosted wouldn’t give me the booth seat that I asked for because the area wasn’t cleaned and my waitress didn’t give me her name. She didn’t even have a name tag. I didn’t understand why the area was dirty since there wasn’t very many people in the restaurant. My wife lifted up the little triangle advertisement at the end of the table, and an old lemon wedge fell out. My wife wanted to leave after that, but I wanted to stay.

My wife and I ordered a Caesar Salad; however, the dressing tasted weak. It wasn’t Caesar dressing on the salad at all, and I didn’t even try to finish it. I just continued to chew on the bread, the one good thing about the entire meal.

I ordered a meal called “The Diablo.” It was made up of noodles, tomato sauce, and chicken. It was supposed to be spicy; however, I didn’t taste one pepper in the entire meal. In fact, the meal was quite tasteless, bland. I added a little bit of salt to it, but it didn’t make it any better.

The prices on the menu might appear to be cheaper than some of the other Italian eateries, but they aren’t. There prices of the salad and other items are itemized; but at some of the other restaurants, the prices of the items are woven into the price of the main meal. Therefore, don’t be fooled by the advertisements on the outside of the restaurant because you’ll pay about the same price at all the eateries in that area. My overall assessment of Primo’s D’Italia is very low. I will not be eating there again.

Check your steak size, because its less than what you order!!!

I order 2-10oz cognac steaks and got 2 - 4oz steaks. I even ask the manager " Is it 10oz before or after they cook them?" he replied with "they weigh 11oz and should weight atleast 10oz after cook." Which is a complete lie. They are ripping people off. I weight my steak with a digital scale that has being calibrated and certified.

Besides that the steaks are good, but the mashed potatoes are terrible, slimy, and gooey. Sometimes I get some good mashed potatoes but last time I got some nasty a$$ mashed potatoes. Either it was fake mashed potatoes mix with some real chunks of potatoes.

I would never order a steak cognac again from Primos, unless its more like 7.99 rather than 14.99 which is a total rip off when the steaks weigh 6oz less than advertised.

Overall
nice experience & food

Our Primo's experience was good...nice atmosphere for dine-in. Ordered take-out on another occasion, not quite as palatable as when served fresh. Their caprese salad and rosemary bread are particularly nice.

Overall
Horrible service

My first trip to Primo's was fair, the food wasn't that good and the table next to us let their kids run from table to table knocking things over and being loud. On my second visit my wife and I waited for half an hour just to have our drink order taken, then waited another 15 minutes before the waitress came back to check our id's, and was then gone for 15 more minutes before we just left. Worst service I have ever had in my life.
