Potomac House Apartments

Are they felon friendly ? Looking for apartment that is felon friendly please help in the Oklahoma City area. Have a great job and good credit just a low petty felony from 2 years ago .

My husband and I are currently looking for a decent 2 bedroom apartment. We did a lot of research on this property and decided to go put a deposit down (since the manager said there would be a townhome ready in 1 week). Well my husband went in yesterday to put the paperwork in and put down the deposit, and the manager on duty had some "friend" she was talking to there. She treated my husband AWFUL. She told him that there wasn't a 2 bedroom available at ALL and no foreseeable future would there be. She blew off every last little thing he said. He asked to see a model or even an empty smaller one, just to get an idea of what the inside looks like. She refused and told him to fill out the application and give her $25. We will NOT put down a deposit down before at least seeing the inside, sorry but no. Then when he POLITELY told her this, she got really ugly with him and said (in EXACT words), "If you're finished talking, then I would like to get back to talking to my friend, thanks.". That BEYOND angered my husband and he stomped away and told her to go, "F*** herself" and she just laughed. Yeah, this manager should be fired. Unless they don't want decent residents in their apartments. And I plan on telling everyone (plus some) about our experiences with this RUDE and awful human being.

Been here since March. They said they had a two bedroom downstairs. That was a. Lie. There were bedbugs in the apartment and the air conditioning has never worked. They have security but not constantly. Drug dealers in and out of there all the time. If they decide to fix anything it's months and months later. They allowed their security guard to illegally enter my home with a gun pointed in my face. They refuse to do anything about it. It is not a place for decent living. Health department has been called numerous times and they are still up and running.

My experience with Potomac House Apartments was great in the very beginning but later on after I had moved in, things got hasty. Started having problems with neighbors and disliked how the cops were constantly being called out for late night fights in the parking lots. As the previous review said, there is quite a bit of children around the complex. They tend to be extra loud during the morning hours but it's normal for a weekend. Management can and will be lazy. In my eyes, they put up a front when you first meet and then when you sign that contract, it's totally different. They get money hungry and will give you all the attitude they possibly can before you say one word out of your mouth. However the apartments themselves are spacious and clean, but they do need some work done. The reason why I moved out was because of problems with the neighbors and well they didn't stick to their end of the contract. Check out the place AND the people before you make a final decision about moving into this place.
