Joined just to be able to post this. Booo this company!!!! This was a set up third party repair. Piss poor customer service. Bad communication skills, took several days to talk to someone. Then couldn't help because they "didnt have a workorder". Then another week before he got back to me and said it would be the next week before he could help because he had a bigger job in Tulsa to do. Never heard back for a month. Just to tell me th .uiey do not do work on windows pc. Now why he didnt share this from the start idk, he was aware that is was a windows pc and not apple. Anyways, lied to me about trying to contact me and email me. Just shoot me the truth and spare the lies. Would not recommend to anyone.

Mobile Macsters is not for everyone...

If you truly enjoy unprofessional service, being lied to, getting hung-up on, having your MacBook SLAMMED on a counter, & being called a jerk.. this is the place for you :)

Here's the synopsis:

Took my little sister's Mid 2013 MacBook Air 13" in for a "Free Checkup" last Friday (9.11.15) under the AppleCare warranty. They explained that they normally charge a $49 diagnostic fee, however.. this is waived if the computer is protected under AppleCare. Fair enough? I thought so..

I was never given a receipt, service agreement, or check-in form. I was simply told that I would receive a call Monday or Tuesday when the parts arrive, & that it should be complete shortly thereafter. That was it.

The next day (9.12.15), I receive a message claiming the found liquid residue in the Mac. At which point I responded that I was unaware of this, & to halt any further testing until I check with my sister.

They explained that I simply wanted to pick the unit up, & bring it back in at a later time since AppleCare does not cover liquid spills.

Mobile Macsters did no provide me with any type of "Diagnostic" other than the fact that they saw some liquid residue after removing the bottom panel. Even after telling them that I did not want to continue with a full diagnostic, they insisted in trying to charge me $49 just to remove the bottom panel off of her Mac & take a look. This is after they told me the check-up would be free. I talked to the store manager & explained to him that I never explicitly or implicitly approved any type of diagnostic or bench fee, & that I was initially promised the check-up was free.

After explaining that I never approved $49, he became very agitated & told me that it wasn't very "gentlemanlike" to "walk out" of a "verbal agreement." & to "just pick it up." Then proceeded to hang up on me.

When I went in the following day, the gentleman than helped me pretended to not know me even though we had just spoken a few days ago. Once I provided him with my first name, he exclaimed "OH, your'e the one that doesn't want to pay the $49" in a very patronizing way.

The man walked to back, grabbed my sister's MacBook air.. & literally dropped it on the counter by at least 6-inches. The MacBook made a loud noise when it hit the table, & then he threw a cable that they had left out on top. There is a corner that has a small dent now from the impact.

On top of that, he called me a jerk & said to never come back.

I was never confrontational, argumentative, or unappreciative. I never raised my voice or said anything inappropriate. I explained to them that I appreciated the help they had provided (albeit not much) & that I would have been more than happy to pay had I actually received a diagnostic, which I did not.

So, if you have a broken Mac, & you're looking for abysmally bad service.. give the Macsters a shot.

They are so friendly and willing to help. They worked with me to provide me with the best service, even though it was a bit inconvenient for them. Great service - I would recommend them.
