NEVER, ever use this company. We have found four people (so far) that he has taken them for part money. His deal is he comes out the first time, "fixes" the appliance. It works for a couple of weeks, you call him back because of course he "warranties" his work. The second time, it needs a part. In our case it was a 429.00 compressor for a subzero refrigerator. We were both at work and had left a check at the house for our daughter to give him, not knowing how much it would be. She asked him to hold the check until the next day as we MAY have to transfer some funds into that account, depending on the cost of the part. Well, first red flag...he cashed it within 30 min. of getting it. Unfortunately for us, the money was in the account.

Dispite repeated calls, emails, fb messages on both his page and the business fb page, no call back, no part. A friend wrote a message to him and his response was that a family death had occured and he had been out of town and 'came back to these fb messages from her"...so not true, as he had been deleting each one the whole time. Now I read in comments below he has used the heart attack AND cancer story for other folks. As well, one lady already has him in Small Claims court for a 300.00 part he never delivered, after the same process as stated above. Another lady contacted me on fb and said she was taken for 80.00. DO NOT use this company! He cannot be trusted and he owes too many people. I am still waitng for my 429.00 back and the 325.00 we paid him for the first visit that didn't actually do what he billed us for. I have to give this one star or it won't let me post, but it deserves a -5 start!

Overall

well i bought a washer and dryer set from him.about three months later the washer wasnt spinning right.so i called him and he came out said it needed some spring things after two days he was back.he fixed it for free and its worked great since.he even cleaned my dryer vent return for me.he was great

I had a terrible experience as well. Our refrigerator broke down 3 days before thanksgiving (bummer I know). And so we looked on craigslist for someone to come out and repair it. Found this mans ad and thought we would give him a try. He came out the same day and looked at our refrigerator and told us that the compressor was out and he could give us another fridge for less money than it would cost to repair our old one. We agreed and he brought it out and replaced it with our old refrigerator. Immediately the unit started to make breathing sounds similar to Darth Vader (no I'm not kidding). We called him back out because it started to no longer keep cold after not even 3 weeks. Also the ice maker NEVER made ice, not a single cube even though we were promised it worked. He came out to"fix it" and it worked fine for 2 more weeks still never making a single ice cube. After it started to no longer cool again we told him to come and get it and to return our money as we had a 90 day warranty/ money back guarantee. At this point he refused to return calls or texts for multiple weeks, when we finally did he claimed that he had suffered a heart attack. This was not very believable, then he sent a text saying he would return our money plus some for our food loss due to the "new" refrigerator not working like it was promised. He then told us that he had been diagnosed with cancer!!!! This man is dirty rotten liar! Do NOT do business with this man he will do whatever he can to get your money and run. I fully plan to file a complaint with the BBB and I will take him to small claims court for all of the crap that he has pulled.

John has provided the worst customer service I have ever had. Two weeks ago, my dryer broke. I let the company that I first contacted keep the dryer since it would not benefit me anymore. I contacted John (J & A) the next day through an ad on Craigs List. I had family staying with me that weekend and had no clean towels. I begged John to drop off the new dryer that day. First, he said he could. Then, said his wife would not let him unless he could keep my old dryer which I did not have. He guaranteed he would be there the next morning at 9. He showed up after I repeatedly called and text at 4:30. Because, I was desperate I purchased the dryer. He said it came with a 90 day warranty and 1 year motor warranty. A week later, it began making helicopter like sounds. I called Friday and he told me he would come on Monday at 4. At 4:30 I sent a text asking him where he was. He said he could not make it and would be at my house Tuesday at 1. He never showed up on Tuesday, and I never heard from him even though I called twice and text twice. I called on Wednesday and heard nothing from him. Thursday, he said he would come around 4. At 5:30 I asked where he was and he replied he would be there the next morning at 8AM SHARP (yeah, right). I woke up this morning at 7:45 and waited until 10. He has not replied to any messages. He has truly inconvenienced me with no regard to the countless hours of time he has wasted. I am so disappointed in my experience. He does not deserve even 1 star.
