Exhaust Specialist

I originally went to a local shop I had used in the past with a favorable experience. I was told my bank one catalytic converter was trashed needing to be replaced and the second catalytic converter may be saved by repairing it. I was given a quote of $685.00 with a turn around time of 3 to 4 hours. Since we have only one vehicle we made arrangements to rent a vehicle. At this point I was looking to be out of pocket $685.00 plus estimated $50.00 for rental for a total of $735.00. This morning on our way to pick up the rental and drop our car off my wife looked at one review of the shop we were going to use. She came across positive reviews and Frank with Exhaust Specialist. It just so happened Exhaust Specialist was on our way to the rental. Pulled in right at opening 8:00am. I met Frank and told him the car is making abnormal exhaust sounds. Frank took our car into the shop up it went on the lift. Maybe five minutes Frank announced his verdict that the flange or bracket had come loose and needed to be welded. He said he could take care of it now. Less than 10 minutes the car was ready, the total charge was less than 10% of the price my former muffler shop was going to charge us. So far we have put maybe 100 miles on the car since repair and it is driving and sounding normal. No check engine light has come on. I am disappointed in the shop I was going to use, thankfully we now have a new guy I think we can trust. Well done Frank.

Had Frank install a performance exhaust on my 2016 Mustang GT. I’m very particular about my car and who works on it - perform most service myself. I looked at multiple options and used Exhaust Specialists due to positive reviews. It was a great choice, Frank did an awesome job. Had to manipulate the exhaust a bit to get the tips aligned, Frank got it absolutely perfect. It sounds and looks awesome, couldn’t be happier. I’ll be back to see Frank, great guy!

I had catalytic converter issues on my daughter car that the repair shop wanted to charge me ridiculously to fix. Upon calling ES and explaining my issue they fixed the problem for 1/3 what others had quoted me. The service was fast and painless. I highly recommend their service.

I was on my way to work one day when suddenly my entire muffler became detached from my car due to rust, and was dragging on the road making a lot of noise, so I stopped at the nearest muffler shop which was Discount Muffler on NW 23RD and MacArthur. Well, to make a long story short, the guy saw I was in a desperate situation, quoted me a price of $600.00 to repair my muffler and sent me on my way. Luckily another guy, simply removed my muffler, no tools required by the way, and I was able to drive to work. Well, thanks to this site I discovered Exaust Specialist, the service I received exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived I was met at the parking lot, my car was driven in for repairs, and after 20 minutes my car was so silent, it sounded like a completely different car, and all at a price so cheap, I had to call twice before my appointment to make sure I heard him correctly.
