I am very happy with my experience at Cunningham and Mears. The first day I called the office was the day after I was in a bad auto accident caused by another driver, totaling my car.
Marcus personally came to pick me up so we could go over my case, but not only that, he thought to bring me to my wrecked car and helped me gather my possessions and brought me back home. I was in a bad position financially with my car loan and was overwhelmed by the idea of not being able to work due to injury and no means of transportation. It was bad all around- career placed on hold- no income and no car. Marcus was great. He helped me immediately get into treatment for my injuries and laid out a realistic and accurate plan to get me back on my feet. And that’s exactly what they did. And in a very timely manner! I was impressed and I’m very thankful for all the help and kind customer service.

I was hit from behind at highway speeds when I was 34 weeks pregnant. At first I was totally against the idea of hiring an attorney. My boyfriend and I were rear ended by a drunk driver and were rushed to the hospital. I ended up getting 15 stitches on my forehead as well as lower back pain. I was trying to settle for myself since I've never had a lawyer and I was a bit scared to get one. The process was taking too long and the drunk driver's insurance was a pain to deal with. My boyfriend was also doing the same thing and the drunk driver's insurance offered him around $1000.
After hearing this and getting a call from them saying that they are suspicious as to how I got cuts on my forehead (even though the drunk driver managed to shatter the back window of my boyfriend's truck) and were trying to say that I didn't wear my seat belt, I immediately looked up lawyers for car accidents and saw the great reviews on Cunningham & Mears. Marcus Mears worked on my case and did an amazing job at handling the very difficult medical providers as well as other aspects of the case. His paralegal, Emily, also did a great job at keeping me updated on the case which was very important to me since I'm a college students and don't have much time to do anything other than work and study. I'm sure that if I would've continued settling for myself I would've gotten 1/2 of what Marcus Mears managed to help me get. Since the settlement was not what we hoped for, Mears lowered his fees! He really cares about you and makes sure that you leave the case knowing that you got the best deal.
