A1 Pet Emporium

A-1 is, hands down, the very best place in Edmond, northwest OKC,and south OKC (it now has three different locations) to cover for all your pet needs including nutritious food, tasty treats, fun toys, and much more.

The staff at each store is very knowledgeable about products and extremely friendly and helpful.

The ownership is very involved in community events benefiting rescue groups, including the annual Rub-a-Dub Dog Wash, the OKC Pride Festival, and various 5k runs.

All three store locations stock only carry the best quality foods, and are more than willing to give out samples until you find what is right for your furry friend.

Prices are, furthermore, VERY reasonable.

A-1 also hosts Dr. Willa Duree, a veterinary chiropractor, once a month at its locations. (This is a much appreciated service for our active sporting dogs!)

This place is amazing! The first thing i noticed when i walked in was that the place is much bigger than i was expecting based on the last review on here. Within seconds i was greeted by Trisha, the owner and pet food expert! For the next two hours she personally walked me through the store and showed me every food they offer- a huge and varied selection of healthy and great foods for pets- and she explained the ingredients, pros, and few cons of each product. The prices were better than i expected and they have a food for every budget which was great for me! They also carry a lot of different natural/real bones, toys, raw food selections, healthy pet supplements and treats, collars leashes, and so much more! My dog was in heaven and we have definitely found our new pet store. I cannot believe i hadn't heard of the store before and have recommended it to all my friends and family. Thank you Trisha for being a godsend to me and my baby girl!

This is the absolute best pet store. I love the personal, friendly service that goes with a smaller, local store. I have been to the store way up north, but my go-to shop is on 119th and S. Penn. If I remember correctly, the south side store is a little larger than the north location. It’s nice seeing familiar faces every time you visit. LOVE THEM!

I was really excited to see a new pet store on the NW side of OKC. Then I went to A1...the store is very small and I would not feel comfortable taking my large breed dogs in the store. They do not have a great quantity of products either...kind of important when you have four dogs and need four of the same toys.
