A to Z Inspections

Horrible don't waste your money,unless you are the buyer! I wasted a whole day off work,only to get a report on my home that was full of petty problems.Which at the end of the day cost me the sale of my home!Several things that they felt the need to insert an estimate (which they are not supposed to do)especially when they have no idea what it would actually cost. There were also lots of things on the report that ARE NOT staying with the property. As a buyer of the home you would expect a nonpartisan company (that's not BBB accredited) to be honest, and that we were the ones lying to our potential buyer. Needless to say you spent 5-6 hours and only found mostly cosmetic problems that were going to possibly cost my buyer $40,000!Examples of this are leaves in the pool, cabinet knob missing on one cabinet, screws loose on outlet, tree branches touching roof and the playhouse (THAT'S ALSO BEING MOVED) needs a new roof! I get it you are charging someone $1,000, you need to fill your report but COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING MAJORLY WRONG! Someone that got their license in roughly 90 days and has no idea about every city code SHOULDN"T be allowed to give an estimate on anything!Also listed throughout is*THIS IS ONLY AN ESTIMATE HIRE A PROFESSIONAL*after you intimidate a buyer or are trying to assist them in getting a home well below what it's worth!So basically you're getting paid $1,000 for your crappy opinion.I completely understand major structural damage,I would want to know that as well. But there is no need to be petty and list a bunch of cosmetic issues that have nothing to do with the structure of the home on an *AS IS SALE. The most comical thing is this we are currently looking for a home and if this company's name is mentioned, the realtors laugh! They are known around the realty world as "Alphabet Soup" don't believe my ask your realtor,we were also informed to steer clear of them! If we would've know this beforehand, they wouldn't have been allowed on our property.

Professional, amazingly thorough. If you are buying the is the ONLY option you should take. Great job guys!!

Avoid this company at all costs. Inept, incompetent, unprofessional. I can not believe there are such ridiculously ignorant people in this business. Their "inspection" cost me the contract on my home.

Unfortunately, this review will not allow me to enumerate every detail, but suffice it to say - this inspector wasn't there to inspect, he was there to search and destroy. Broke several things in my house overestimated and greatly exaggerated the repairs and "danger". Scared the buyer off over ridiculous items that weren't even an issue.

Do not let this incompetent company on your property under any circumstances. You'll regret it. Trust me!

I would avoid this company, they over estimate cost e.g., $75 to replace an AC filter, over step their boundaries, and are in some cases just flat out incompetent. Much like Shelby's situation below they almost cost us the deal on our home but fortunately didn't, but they did manage to screw up our AC unit. As a buyer or seller i wouldn't recommend their services.

I highly recommend Jack Werner and A to Z Inspections. When we were buying a house, two inspectors and one inspector in training came to the house and stayed for 2 and a half hours. They were very thorough and helpful. They walked us through the house and explained everything they saw. When the inspectors left, we were confident that we completely understood the condition of the house. They even explained how we could do some of the repairs ourselves. After the inspection, Jack called us to see if we had any questions and make sure we had a good experience. Choosing A to Z Inspections was a great choice!

We lost the sale on our home thanks to the "inspection" provided by this company. They over estimated costs by thousands of dollars and ran our potential buyers off. To add injury to insult the inspectors giant tool belt scratched my furniture and my doors.
