As some other folks I was on a trip from SC to FL and my car broke down with a transmission issue. Had to rebuild the transmission costing $2200. So far so good. After back home the engine light came on and went to auto zone to find out the messages being code 700 and 740 clearly indication a transmission issue. Took it with their permission to a shop in Savannah where they stated it was an electrical issue . replaced the Electronic Control Module with updated software to see if that would eliminate the issue but it did not. Took it to a place in Savannah that works on electrical systems only and they stated that it was in the transmission. Called Turner but they replied that it was not covered under the warranty because they blame the new computer. I would advice to stay away from this place.

Skip Turner charged me for a Master rebuild kit and never installed it, only fixed what was wrong. Every external part that could leak transmission fluid is leaking bad bcuz they put the 38yr old brittle plastic case connectors and detent cable and speedometer O'ring, shifter O'ring back in and when I took the van back 2 days later skip personally shoved gasket sealer in every orifice on this transmission and charged me almost $100 bucks to do this Iv been in contact with the better buisness office in Ocala and there going threw the channels to help but not going anywhere yet, meanwhile my vehicle has dumped several qrts of transmission fluid onto driveway and that a'hole skip turner made off w/almost $2000 of my money

I race my 98 accord almost every weekend. when I blew my trans I took it to turners. they fixed it fast, and I have had it back at the track a few times since they fixed and no problems. thank you turners!!!

turners will not do the right job. Ck them out alot of bad reviews since todd turner got out of business. son inlaw is the one who helps you when u walk inside. son inlaw took over business now and is running in the ground.. beware co sucks now thanx to son in law

Turners told me transmission no good. ck in with computer. 3 days later turners called and said transmission fine car has short and to pick it up. Turners would not help me ! Because not getting big dollars to rebuild transmission. Went to dealer. No short bad alternator. It would have taking turners 5 minutes to test alternator. To small of a job.. warranty paid for alternator.. todd turner not around out of business. Son inlaw has business now.. and he doesn't care about the little people. Just the big jobs. buyer beware of turners transmission shop.. all true..

They charged me 2900$ for a transmission rebuild 10 months ago. I have had to bring the TRUCK BACK TO THEM 10 TIMES NOW. I am not lying. The 3rd time i brought it back to them they convinced me it was another problem and they needed another 800$ to fix it for good that time. So I paid it!!! BUT IT STILL DIDN'T FIX IT. Simply put I paid them a total of 3700$ and my truck still isnt fixed. They put me through HELL, they are the devil. They are open to 5 but always close early. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CAR JUST TAKING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM YOU TO NOT FIX NOTHING.

I feel there are two sides to a story. I have done business with them before they do honor their warranty. They must be doing something right for have been in business since 1954.

My experience with this company has been awful! They have not stood by their warantee. We were headed home from Vermont to Florida when the transmission that they rebuilt blew on rte 81 in Hazelton PA. It was on a Sat. I called them on Monday to check on the status of the warantee regarding mileage and time. I didn't have my paperwork with me. They looked it up on their computer and told me it was out of warantee so I had a rebuilt installed up there. When I got home and looked at my paperwork I found that in fact it was within the warentee period. I went to the shop to talk with them and Frank told me I voided the warantee because I didn't bring the Van back to them! 1. How could I get it back to Florida? 2. He told me it was out of warantee so why would I bring it back even if I could???
