X-rays
On your first visit, your dentist will review your past medical and dental histories, perform a thorough visual examination of your teeth and gums and take digital and panoramic x-rays of your teeth. He/She will then explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment. Our team will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Teeth Cleaning
Gingivitis, and no damage has been done, one to two regular cleanings will be recommended.Â You will also be given instructions on improving your daily oral hygiene habits and having regular dental cleanings. If the disease has progressed to more advanced stages, a special periodontal cleaning called scaling and root planing

There are alternatives to conventional substances used in amalgams, such as gold and metal alloys. These include materials made from porcelain and composite resins, which are colored to match natural tooth enamel. Unfortunately, few materials can match the strength and durability of conventional dental amalgam and may need more frequent replacement.
Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin wafers of porcelain, about half a millimeter thick (the thickness of a fingernail) that are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a smile makeover. Porcelain mimics tooth structure better than any other restorative material. It is harder than enamel, so it resists wear and can last for many years. Your dentist can manipulate the color and translucency to re-create the look of any tooth. Porcelain veneers rarely discolor, unless the surface has been damaged.
Crowns
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns on anterior teeth. For the posterior teeth, the latest technology in porcelain and PFM crowns are utilized to insure a beautiful, natural-looking smile.
Bridges
If you are missing one or more teeth and there is at least one serviceable tooth on both sides of the space where the tooth is missing, one acceptable option for replacement, used for many years in dentistry, is the fixed bridge.
Dental Bonding
Whitening agents actually change the color of your teeth, but only are effective on certain types of stains. For example, bleaching agents have a difficult time removing brownish or grayish stains. These products also are not as effective on pitted or badly discolored teeth, or on restorations such as crowns, bridges, bonding and tooth-colored fillings (porcelain veneers or dental bonding may be more appropriate in this case).

Root Canal Treatment
We use an advanced computerized technique which allows us to complete your root canal treatment in just one visit and makes the root canal experience much more comfortable and predictable. This techique enables us to determine the length of the canal without x-rays, control the cleaning of the canal with a fast, smooth and quiet rotary instrument and rapidly fill the canal with a computer-controlled heated filling material which fills the whole canal as well as any small, accessory canals.

Periodontal Surgery
Deep Cleaning
(deep cleaning) will be recommended. If the pockets do not heal after scaling and root planing, periodontal surgery may be needed to reduce pocket depths, making teeth easier to clean.

Dentures
Dentures are replacement teeth for teeth that are missing, as a result of falling out or having to be pulled. Dentures are commonly worn mostly by older individuals. They are usually constructed out of metal and acrylic resin, a material very similar to plastic. Dentures are not permanent inside of the mouth, and therefore are removable.
Overdentures
An overdenture is a removable denture that fits over a small number of remaining natural teeth or implants. The natural teeth must be prepared to provide stability and support for the denture.
