Exotic Braids & Weaves

First, let me start by saying she did not even touch my hair. I called because a friend gave me her number, and Ms. was the absolute rudest person I've had the opportunity of speaking with in terms of customer service--operative word there is SERVICE. I called for information on pricing, quantity of hair needed, and appointment time. Just with those three BASIC, surface, and appropriate questions she was rude.

I asked if she had any appointments for today, and she said she could get me in by 2.

I replied, "Ok, No thanks."

She says, "Well...do you want it?"

Again I reply, "No thanks...I don't get off work until after 4."

She says [verbatim], "Well, you should have just said you wanted a later appointment instead of callin' me like you want it done right now!" And hangs up.



Now, I could have been rude and retaliated, but that would have only made me feel good for the moment because that's not who I am. HOWEVER, when a potential client is inquiring about YOUR service, YOUR business, it doesn't take much to simply be nice and willing to add to YOUR clientele. I admire young, black women in entrepreneurship, but don't miss your blessings or money acting ugly. Go take a workshop on professionalism because you are lacking immensely.

I got some box braids done by Ms. Tee, it took her about 4 hours which was great... But what wasn't great was the fact that my hair looked horrible... The ends of the braid were so frail and skinny and the size of them weren't proportional. Like the other lady mentioned, she was about 30 minutes late as well. The next day I realized that I really did not like my hair. I called her with my issue and she got loud with me. -___- we confirmed another appointment and she agreed that she'd fix it. When the appointment time came around, she canceled and said she'd be able to do it another day. Of course I never heard from her again. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy, and that says a lot!

I scheduled an appointment with Mz. Tee to get Senegalese Twists. I had never had my hair braided before and I was pleased with the end result. She was running a bit late, but not too late to complain about. I had only one person working on my head for a while, until 2 other women helped. It took over 6 hours, but I think that was due to the length and thickness of my hair. The ladies were all personable and I would definitely go back. I only kept my twists in for about 5 weeks and I noticed no problems when taking them down.

I had an early appointment and Mz. Tee was 30 minutes late. I was told I'd had two braiders and I was only given one braider. I liked my hair but months after I took my hair down I noticed I had BIG knots in the middle of my hair. Also, I noticed that the hair stuff stuff she was using causes tiny knots that around the edges of my hair that felt like I had super glue on my hair when I took out my hair. She twisted my hair in bigger sections in the middle with that hair crap she was using. It took me about an hour to get those knots out without breaking my hair. NEVER AGAIN.
