Delicious food, wonderful ambience, outstanding staff, great rewards program--can't say enough good things about Maya! :)

I saw this place on Chicago Best during the weekday. So I recommended this place for our weekly date night! And it was unbelieveablly great. The music, the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, and most importantly the food was excellent!!! I really enjoyed the patio area it made you feel like you was at a family get together. It's just one of those places that have you coming back over and over again!

Great patio and good Pan-Latin cuisine. If this restaurant were in the West Loop, I'm not sure it would survive next to really stellar Mexican and Latin cuisine. But this is Oak Park and there are a surprisingly small number of good restaurants. Maya is a place that you could take city friends or family visiting from out of town without being embarrassed, especially if the weather is nice and you can sit outside. The appetizers tend to be more interesting than the main courses. The cocktails are definitely a highlight, from the mojito to the Mexican hot chocolate at brunch. Speaking of brunch, this is a good family-friendly option. We've had good service almost every time we have visited and servers are accommodating of my daughter's food allergy -- including one to dairy. Maya is also quite social media savvy so expect freebies for Facebook check-ins and the like.

My husband and I went to Maya del Sol this Wednesday (march 14). We heard about this restaurant from an out of town friend who heard of this restaurant from another friend who said they HAD to try it! Walking into the restaurant our first impression wasn't even the gorgeous atmosphere but the very welcoming and warm greeting we got from the host that was working that night. Her personality truely had that "I love where i work" energy which made my husband and I know we were already going to love the welcoming and friendly surroundings. After asking us OUR preference of seating, the very bubbley host walked us out to the patio making friendly chat the whole way, asking us if we dined with Maya before and making what sounded like excellent menu suggestions. Our server was at the table very quickly after the seating and offer fabulous drink options. (Try the Sangria!) While eating our delicious meal the manager stopped by to make sure everything was perfect and we were very happy to say it deffinitly was. Unfortuatly, (although very tempted) my husband and i were too stuffed to have dessert. We'll save that for next time!! 5 Stars! i will be telling all of my friends about Maya Del Sol.
