John Amico School of Hair Design

I had not visited the school in 10 years. What a nice change, the floor, wall and equipment all new. Best part, I had a very nice student Kate with her instructor Miss Tracie gave me a consultation first. That made me breath easy. I wanted highlights and lowlight which I was hoping they could do. I know it is a big job for a school but it turned out fantastic. I been to many salons and and paid a lot more but this I can say was the best. I think it was also the color, they said John Amico directly import from Italy. It is now 4 weeks and no fading. So, I just had to let them know. Keep up the good work. I will be back in 8 weeks.

I'm a newer client and after my fifth visit I was very confident with a student doing my hair. On my last visit the salons closing time was approaching. Instead of the instructor pulling the student to the side to let her know that the salon was closing soon she told the student while I was in the chair that she needed to end the service she was providing to me because she needed to pick up her kids. Really, Allison?? She told the student to have me come back the next day to finish the hairstyle. Now, remember I'm sitting in the chair the entire time. I commend my stylist, Ronesha because she maintained her professionalism and she's the only reason I'll consider going back.

Despite the bad bad reports below, I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! I love that they offer all hair services and that the students are trained in all of them. The teachers are

Friendly and of great help. Perfect place for color, haircuts, extensions and styles! Definitely worth checking out :)

I have gone to professional salons for years. I went to be a model and the students under the direction of John and Oliva did an oustanding job. I have wonderful highlights and a terrific base color. It's less than half the price that I normally pay but just as good.My thanks to them for making my month! I will be back every time I need a touch up.
